I just wish I was here sooner so I could’ve been part of the actual journey, and experienced the same level of shock, sadness, and joy that everyone else went through when certain events first happened in this story🤧😭🤧😭. Also so that I could feel the same amount of nostalgia that people who’ve been here longer must be feeling.

I feel depressed about aot after eren became a monster for the sake of his friends and his love for mikasa. This series will always have a special place in my heart with how grounded to reality this show is. Isayama really did a marvelous job to show how stories cannot always have happy endings to be incredible. Whoever did the artwork for the thumbnail created a masterpiece of aot art! It captures everything what eren wanted to do for mikasa. The blue/violet flames of love encapsulating both eren and mikasa as they hold hands. At the end with erens scarf enveloping mikasa and eren as they lovingly embrace is beautiful. Eren never did the rumbling, and instead he spends the remaining 4 years of his life giving her a happy life by being by her side and eloping together to the flower field away from civilization and war. I always wanted mikasa and eren to be together since 2013 when the series started. Knowing that there could've been a happy end for eremika, makes me content enough to be satisfied with Aot's bittersweet ending. Thank you for making this, this is a perfect send off to a legendary series!

MANGA SPOILER WARNING: Ever since I got into the series, I always wished for Eren and Mikasa to be together. I don't care what they may say about their relationship "being forced," there have been so many moments with those two that I think a lot of people may forget about. They look after each other, protect each other, have gone through hell with each other. People used to tell me that they're only siblings, but I don't think they ever thought of each other as siblings? Sure Eren's parents took her in, but she really had nowhere else to go. Over time, something deeper blossomed. It was clear that Mikasa loved him, but I don't think Eren was the type to show those emotions? He wanted to focus on humanity's future and this freedom he was longing for. But when he said that he'll wrap that scarf around her over and over again, and that time he popped the question "What am I to you?" those are the times where he has shown it. The fact that he lied and said he hated her was so heartbreaking. Mikasa clung onto Eren so much. He wanted Mikasa to forget about him so that she could be free. Yes, he cried about wanting to be with her, but I'm sure he knows it was for the best. He wanted her to live a full happy life by moving on from him. However, she refused to let go and wrapped that scarf back around her neck. She took the bravest action and killed the one she swore to always protect, since the beginning of the story. It's like we saw it coming yet we didn't. I go back to that chapter every so often and see the look in his eyes. It was definitely the mixed look of sorrow and peace. It's sad to say that Mikasa suffered from loving him and she made the decision to kill him for humanity's sake, perhaps even for his sake. Even after, she still loved him, but judging by the extra pages we got, she still lived a good full life while never forgetting about the boy she once loved. She let go, but never forgot. Attack on Titan isn't a romance, but it is nice to stick in a little love here and there. Sometimes I don't think people fully understand how meaningful love really is and how powerful it can be in our lives? I wasn't just satisfied with all of it because they were my OTP, I thought it was genuinely interesting. I loved the idea of Mikasa freeing Ymir. They were so alike if you think about it. They were two beings enslaved by love. King Fritz was an evil man, but I think when Ymir got the Titans power, she felt useful and somehow that made her cling to him. I've heard many stories about abusive relationships and somehow that's just how it works for some people, as hard as it is to understand? As for Mikasa, well, it's pretty obvious after following the journey. After Ymir saw this, I believe her thoughts were "She was able to do it, so why can't I?" She came to realization and could be free from her prison of love, the Titans power disappearing with her. Ymir reminds me of a ghost that refuses to move on, it's basically that. Overall, I can see why some people didn't care for that sorta thing, but I in fact loved it. Even if it was something that Isayama came up with fast, I thought that it still worked somehow. You can love it or hate it, the love between Eren and Mikasa was unique.
Leur amour est présent depuis le début. Cependant Eren et Mikasa sont des enfants puis des ados et à peine des adultes à la fin du manga. C'est normal que les lecteurs n'aient pas compris ce sentiment entre les 2, exprimé différemment par Mikasa et Eren. Quand j'ai découvert qu'Ymir aimait le roi Fritz, j'ai compris ce que je n'arrivais pas à comprendre chez ce personnage (elle était esclave, elle cherchait la liberté pour des cochons, mais pourquoi obeissait-elle malgré son pouvoir?)... mais je n'avais jamais pensé à un amour toxique (qui n'est pas souvent utilisé pour expliquer un mystère autour d'un personnage important comme Ymir). Et mettre en parallèle Ymir/Mikasa est risqué pour un manga comme SNK, mais j'ai aimé qu'Isayama montre les 2 facettes aussi de l'amour : celui qui rend aveugle, esclave et celui qui libère malgré la douleur. Et Mikasa, cette femme forte (la femme la plus forte de l'humanité puisque Levi est l'homme le plus fort de l'humanité), douce et juste... offre un dernier sourire à celui qu'elle aime avant de le libérer de son destin, elle lui offre un endroit où rentrer, apaisant sa mort.

I personally don't think Isayama came up with this story quickly. There is too much foreshadowing baked into the very foundation of the story, even from the very beginning - so many small moments that only connected years later. You can't craft that kind of masterpiece without thorough planning.

Back during S1 I used to think that AOT will be a good Anime but never imagined that it would blow up in popularity like this. It was by the end of S2 that the story and writing aged like fine wine. Then S4 came and everything after that is history.

This is such an incredible ending theme. I really grew to like Eren and Mikasa over time. You can really get the burden that Eren feels with the attack Titan in how he says he can’t tell what is real or not cause all of time is like happening at once and he still sticks to his main motivation that set history in it’s course but his heart to heart with Armin was my favorite moment cause it’s just him having a friend and Armin having a friend back. Those three are really good characters.
@Erik Kemeey I do like Historia and at one point I thought that was a possibility. I’m not sure why it didn’t happen. I still like Mikasa and Eren but I think if their circumstances were different they’d be good together. Hard to say.

I was high the other day just thinking about this. I had this feeling of how much great art and stories are "eaten" by time. And how thats true for everything. Everything turns to dust, and i felt It was such a shame you cant keep certain things forever. I remember i was really thinking about AoT as an example of something that deserves to stand the test of time. But i also realize this is the nature of the universe and its necessary for it to be so. It was still very sad.

Spoiler Warning! This is such an emotional and melancholic rendition. As tragic as this beautiful story is, I feel at peace knowing that Eren lived a meaningful life and is at peace. Ofcourse we'd love a happy ending where Eren and Mikasa can be together forever, but that doesn't mean their love wasn't special. Ofcourse he desired to be with Mikasa and his friends but he truly believed in his own sacrifice for them. "The world is cruel, but I still love you". This perfectly encapsulates that the world broke them through the sacrifices they made but their love endured. Eren sacrificed his final years of happiness with Mikasa to become a monster to stay and defend Paradis so his friends could live peaceful lives. Mikasa sacrificed her love to save what remained of the world but also to give eren the peace death brought from the monster he had become. Despite the cruelty of these sacrifices they loved eachother and what matters is their freedom, resilience & choice to rise above that pain of sacrifice and see the beauty in the world, their love. It eases the heartache knowing despite the dark path Eren went down, he still lived a meaningful and fulfilling life where he loved and was loved both in the paths with Mikasa and the world. The world is cruel, but it's also beautiful because of the love Eren and Mikasa had for eachother and their sacrifice. They were eachothers constant companion and peace. Eren was tired in his final moments but Mikasa brought him peace, both in life and in death. it was ultimately his choice to sacrifice himself for his friends and Paradis. I feel at peace knowing that Eren lived a meaningful and fulfilling life. In savings his loved ones he is finally free and at peace.
For me it makes me wish I was here sooner so that I could’ve spent more time with these wonderful characters, and been a part of the journey with everyone.🤧😢

En las primeras temporadas odiaba a Mikasa por que era un personaje que no entendía, pero sabía que Isayama la había escrito así por una buena razón. Por eso el final de SNK tiene tanto significado. Y este ending hizo que recordara eso que sentí al leer el capítulo 139 del manga. 😭

When i heard that mix of Call of Silence is this, that literally made me soo emotional.. AOT feels so grand, it cannot be expressed in words
Akuma No Ko and Shogeki complement each other well. I also like how at times, you can hear Call of Silence in the background. The songs written for Attack on Titan link well together and to the storyline. That's what makes this series one of my favorite soundtracks.
The singer sounds almost like Mikasa which makes this feel even 1000x better

After the last episode end. You will feel a lot of emotion like Eren and Mikasa. sadness loneliness happiest and nostalgia. All of this feeling was real .even some day you are realized that it's an animation the character wasn't even exist.Even you will be forgot this story and go to the next fun or dramatic animation as you will be forgoten in the next 2,000 years form humankind or your bood line .That doesn't mean your feeling at this time is not real. isayama doesn't need to write any story. Bucause he already write the masterpiece for the world. He knew that human is not perfect and always want to be remembered when their left. like Eren want Mikasa Armin thought about him. ps.I'm so glad i didn't die form covid untill now. i'm manga reader . but i cant wait to watch the end of this masterpiece in animate version.If so i can rest in peace anytime ;) ps2. Isayama have proved that you can make a epic masterpiece manga even you are not good in drawing (joke) lol
As a manga reader I'm also looking forward for the storyline to be flesh out with animation, voices, the action. I get very emotional seeing everything of the anime because we know what going to happen. In a rather weird twist, we are like Eren we know what going to happen next and all we can do is watch it happen. In a way that make me feel connected with him, and the ending song just broke my heart for the fate Eren had to fulfill. Also I'm glad you recovered from Covid, I got it to and my whole family too.
