"the world is cruel but I still love you" is an incredible line because it's applicable to our reality. Even though our existence is doomed with suffering, love - love for the familiar, for the stranger, for nature, for art - is what makes life worth living.
Everything in aot is relateble to our world, thats what i call a Masterpiece. Aot isn't just a fictional world, its much more than that

Really love how Samuel brought back some old themes that we haven't heard in a long time in AoT. Like "Call of Silence" at 0:57 and then "Counter Attack-Mankind" at 1:37. When I heard these two being referenced in this incredible arrangement, I just felt so many emotions flood back in me because it just threw me way back to those earlier episodes. Don't get me wrong, I love AoT right now, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't miss what it used to be. I guess I just miss the feeling of curiosity and the not knowing how the story would turn out. But since I've already read the manga, it's like that "magic" is not necessarily gone, but just not the same. Really going to miss this masterpiece of a show when it's finally finished.

Such a beauty melody, one of the most striking sounds I've ever heard. It's haunting and melancholic yet so beautiful and peaceful. When I listen it makes me grateful to have lived in this world and experienced an expression of such wonderful beauty. As tragic as this beautiful story is, I feel at peace knowing that Eren lived a meaningful life and is at peace. Ofcourse we'd love a happy ending where Eren lived and could be with Mikasa, but that doesn't mean their love wasn't special. Ofcourse he desired to be with Mikasa and his friends but he truly believed in his own sacrifice for them. "The world is cruel, but I still love you". This perfectly encapsulates that the world broke them through the sacrifices they made but their love endured. Eren sacrificed his final years of happiness with Mikasa to stay and defend Paradis so his friends could live peaceful lives. Mikasa sacrificed her love to save what remained of the world, and also freed Ymir from the consequences of the sacrifice she could not make. Despite the cruelty of these sacrifices they loved eachother and what matters is their freedom, resilience & choice to rise above that pain and see the beauty in the world, their love. His love for Mikasa affirms though this world does not seem worth living in, there are people worth living for. It eases the heartache of saying goodbye knowing despite the dark path Eren went down, he still lived a meaningful and fulfilling life where he loved and was loved both in the paths with Mikasa and the world. "The world is cruel, but it's also beautiful". This is because of the love Eren and Mikasa had for eachother. They were eachothers constant companion and peace.

is beautiful. I always knew this song belonged to Eren and Mikasa. a couple who sacrificed their happiness for the world. Now I understand, he didn't want to continue with that destiny, he wanted to be next to the woman he loves. It hurts, it hurts a lot. I cried, I cried so much that my eyes were swollen. and it hurts more for Mikasa, she lost many people and especially the man she loved, I love the characters, it is not a fairy tale since they did not have a happy ending, only them, in some way I feel Mikasa's pain but it hurts plus see them in El Más Allá finally together. Maybe others do not understand and only criticize, but the couple in all anime who despite their love had to sacrifice themselves for a humanity that does not change. For him the most beautiful thing in the world was her, his beloved, in his eyes she is the most beautiful of all. They will always be in my heart, I imagine that at least one moment was just for them.

Attack on Titan is the single greatest modern story ever written. Maybe not the greatest of all time, but surely of my lifetime and I’d be willing to bet, of many others’.
I realized Eren and Mikasa never slowed down to take in all they have accomplished. The suffering and despair in their lives forces them to keep moving forward with their duties, prompting them to give their best effort in every difficult circumstance. I have been watching the series for a year and just realized how big they have grown from kids. Even to me, as a viewer, I have rarely thought about Eren and Mikasa being adults, no longer kids with limitless ambitions. This music is beautiful, this anime is not real, but so realistic at the same time.

Am I the only one who is crying when listening to this emotional orchestral version of Akuma no Ko?, because seriously listening to this, it moves me a lot.
Those subtle, piercing notes you could hear in the background at the beginning were such a sublime touch, and then the way the instrumentation filled in towards the end, especially with those drums (snare? No idea) bringing in that whisp of a military vibe! Just brilliant touches! 👏❤️🎶❤🔥👏

This theme resonates throughout the story through many events and characters. This is one of the most prominent themes in AoT from the very start, and is beautifully portrayed from different perspectives, character dynamics and subtle yet substantial details throughout the narrative which makes this much more complex and can be interpreted in myriad of ways. Thank You Samuel, for this emotional and melancholic orchestral version.

How I can live after the ending of the best work I have seen in my life. AOTcreated a love story deeper and better than the story of Romeo and Juliet, which was between Mikasa and Eren. Mikasa's life was Eren. and she had to destroy it. As for Eren, he did not want to die from the beginning. He wished that he could continue living with Mikasa and not leave her alone.💔
