easily explainable misunderstandings is one of my biggest pet peeves in movies. honestly the laziest type of writing in my opinion
I've been completely turned off countless movies and TV series due to this one. Basically what I classify under 'manufactured drama'.
John Sobkowiak Maybe. But still, there are a lot of misunderstandings happening in reality
It's just weak writing, in my personal opinion. There are plenty of ways to cause tension without having characters purposely withhold trivial information.
Then you'd hate Three's Company. Watch it. All of it.
Dboone l TheRealest Yeah, i've been having trouble watching The Walking Dead due to illogical decisions, that and the fact that when people get bit by zombies, the zombies don't make any sound until they get close enough to bite, or they're too weak to push a zombie away. Oh, and how damn hard is it to stab a few zombies, like they could have cleared out so many zombies so easily, especially with Michonne's katana slicing zombies like its a damn lightsaber.
I'm not gonna lie I love Bad Boys. Once upon a time I could repeat every line. I saw it twice back to back with my older brother. That was a great day. It's so 90's.

The sin tally is completely correct. I love the movie anyway because of the two stars, Michael Bay, and the fact that I saw it first at like age 7 in the 90s. Glorious times. It is fairly funny, but more so, it's likeable. But yea... it's definitely stupid.

I actually think he had a good time at Martin's house he just pretended not to because he didn't want him to know he actually enjoyed family life vs single life.
+Leola Glamour Agreed. Mike(Will) was digging being with Marcus(Martin) family and being the Huxtables. I think he also knew how jealous Marcus can be, so there was that. Messing with Marcus like that was funny stuff. BTW, how YOU doing? :)
One note: The biker guy in the bathroom scene was trying to rob Marcus while the other guy came to kill him. It was meant to show how shitty Marcus' luck was to have 2 people try to kill him at the same time for very different reasons.
Actually the biker guy was trying to help the other guy out the whole time, it was an ambush

It was the buddy dynamic between Martin & Will along with good action was what made the movie a fun time and that’s what Bad Boys is all about.
No, it looks asks feels more like two guys bouncing lines off each other with an neither listening to the other.
Clifton Photographer that’s the point. They have funny, quick witted Humor which works well with the chemistry of the 2 actors. The action was well choreographed and had a decent, cohesive story. Honestly one of my favourite movies. It was fun to watch and that’s all that matters in movies

The idea of good acting a good comedy is to react and not simply repeat. you have to make the audience believe you're actually friends are actually arguing not memorize lines being repeated. Honestly this was one of the absolute worst movies I've ever seen. Just the simple thing of confusing the woman to which partners she's talking to is ridiculously dumb. a simple mistake that could have been easily corrected and not put people's lives in jeopardy multiple times. This is one of the few minutes actually felt painful to finish watching.
Clifton Photographer I can agree that the whole plot could have been easily avoided. But I have to disagree with the whole premise of Will Smith and Martin not having a good chemistry. Sure, at first it seems like they were awful, but that’s when the magic of their friendship is revealed. Although they both fight a lot and get themselves into rather foolish issues quickly, they always make it up to each other. The girl was not that good but the polars of Mike and Marcus make that up. You said it yourself that acting of comedy is meant to be reacting and they both have an, albeit, hyperbolised reaction but a comical one at that. They share their greatest moments and as the movie progresses we see that although they bicker and fight, they always have a sense of confidence when with each other.
Don’t forget Tea Leoni’s right leg, and Tea Leoni’s left leg.

So was the rock,. Armageddon (just so fucking watchable), bad boys 2, transformers 1 and pain and gain.. Most young fans don't seem to know he's just carrying on the legacy and style of Bruckheimer and Don Simpson.. He also has allot of similarities to Tony Scott.. But people will still praise them and not Bay.. To me his biggest mistake was getting stuck making Transformers sequels for 10 years

The first time I recognized Michael Bay was connected to mad movies was when I saw Transformers and it seemed oddly familiar. My sister and I were like "this zoom around shot feels a lot like Bad Boys" 😂

Amazing that this was one of my favorite movies (still is), and I still had some of the same thoughts. I think it was because I realized it was a comedy action movie, so I never really took those thoughts seriously.

In reality : all emergency services calls are recorded so that criminal would have to pretty stupid to commit a homicide then call as he had to get the police equipment from somewhere so there would a massive law enforcement agency officers investigation so it's more likely the criminal would get caught as it was originally his illegal drugs he stole back from the station

This is why don’t listen to critics when I want to see a movie. A lot of over analyzing, didn’t expect this to be the French Connection but love it just the same.

Alexander Calder painted made the 727 that exploded in this film. It was in service in the 70s and had one of the coolest looking paint jobs any airliner has ever had. He also painted a DC-8 that was scrapped a long time ago. These were all from an airline company called Braniff that went bankrupt in 1993. You might have seen them from the first season South park episodes. Great planes they had in their fleet.
