Ma-H-Alo sir! 👊😎
Do you have anything on timing? How to time a counter?
This kid is Guna be special when he’s older beautiful technique and a great teacher
Shit he's better than me already absnd I've been training almost 20 years. I wish I had those new hips man, damn.
The instructor is a great competitor himself. He spent some time with Tiger Muay Thai in Thailand; so he's official.
6:24 "the longer the better... pause" 😂
Fr lmaooo
4:04 love that chemistry. Thats a kid who loves his dad. Great technical advice as always.
I live in Thailand and have been training Muay Thai for 3 years. My Kru (a Thai) is a very good teacher. However, he doesn't give detailed breakdown of the mechanics like you do. He just do the kick himself and ask you to follow and imitate him. For example, he would tell me to turn my hips when I kick but your little details of having the "hip face the ceiling" makes all the difference in awareness when you kick. I am not saying the Thais are not good teacher. it's just that they have been training Muay Thai since they were a kid and everything becomes instinctive and ingrained and they don't need to think about breaking down the mechanics. I actually learn more from the "little details" in your instructions which makes all the difference. Keep up the great work. I am a fan.
Great breakdown! Coach Charles is used to teaching beginners at his academy so his teachings has to be more detailed yet practical 🙏🙏🙌
I feel the same way in regards to the brazilians who teach BJJ. Their English is not very good so it’s difficult for them to point out the little details well
never seen better muay thai tutorials!
Ty much for the kind words! We have much more otw for you 🙏🙌✅ ~Team KMA
@@KMAAcademy2020 absolutely, this channel is pure gold
The way your son looks at you when you're explaining the technique shows the respect that he has for his father, you are his Hero! Respect! BTW, the ankle cue is on point!
Ty for the kind words! 🙏🙌
as someone whos boutta start training muay thai at home, this shit GOLD!
I'm from malaysia, and this is the best muaythai kick tutorial. I'm still learning and just knew that touching is essential to mark your distance before kicking. Thankss
This pair is straight out of a comic book 🔥🔥
Hes just like a human fly
Boyyyyy that Jim Kelly reference on point🤌🤌
Great job coach, very well explained. Been a muay thai practioner over 30yrs and that student looks sharp. Handled! Wham!
Man you are an incredible coach, I've been training for a couple of years now and I always you lessons to my game!
1:42 I love how he is over-exaggerating the mechanics of the roundhouse it can really help beginners see the nuance a lot better. The kid kicks like a Thai too.
I know how to do the roundhouse kick but man I never knew these small things, its a game changer. Always learning new stuff
Young fellas chuckle after you said “Mess around and get broken ribs” made me chuckle.
I came across your channel watching Sitjaopho gym videos. I love the way you teach with such detail and thorough explanations as to why things are done. And your son is going to be an exceptional fighter. You got a new subscriber in me. Keep up the great work, coach 👊🏿🥊.
Awesome, thank you! 🙏🙌
I am from Bangkok, Thailand. I saw Tito learnt with Tawanchai. I am Muay Femur and I know Tito is gonna be a promising fighter in the future. I hope he will keep the discipline, dedication and techniques. He will be an excellent Muay Femur.
@KMAAcademy2020 I saw your fight on Maxx Muay Thai, Ajarn Charles Johnson. I love the way you stayed technical. I saw your training with Sitjaopoh(ศิษย์เจ้าพ่อ) It is great that you teach all the techniques that you know to your son krub. Daniel Alamos, Tawanchai and more fighters that Tito can study with. When he is grown up, he is going to be untouchable krub. Have a nice day krub Ajarn Charles. ขอบคุณครับ (Khob Khun Krub) 🙏 Perhaps, Tito can learn how to switch hit from Ajarn Karuhat krub. Ajarn Karuhat is my second favourite fighter of all time behind Ajarn Samart Payakaroon.
Brilliant, thank you. Love the atmosphere and tone. Special stuff here.
Kingdom Martial arts knows! Quality content. Very nice details.
THANK YOU COACH!
Best instructor 🎉
That kid is generating good power. A testament to a good teacher.
Great teacher, keep going sir 🙏🔥
I love the alternative for those with tight hips! Great video 😊

Kid's going to be a great kickboxing coach if he wants to be cause he's learning from the best.

The fact that my foot is DEADASS SWELLED UP because I kicked an elbow today..... should of found this vid first.
Get well soon and turn that hip towards the ceiling ✅🙌
Thank you I’m grateful for you
Yw and ty for watching! 🤩🙏
Great 👍
I learn something new every video. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and breaking it down in an easy to understand way. Plus I love the “boop” haha, keep it up !!
Glad to help !✅🙌
buzzy! I clicked on your video because ive literally been on the bag trying to drill my lead switch and rear kick! But its buzzy because I remember you from the tiger trials some years back! Your character was a dope way of showing people the diversity of the Muay Thai community globally! I was like "you could make a Afro-samurai type Anime but for Muay Thai with bros character haha". That aside... im going to use this drill man! Appreciate it highly! Just that peep into one drill, and this young mans sharp form speaks volumes to your training system and character as a coach and person. Awesome to watch! I train under Lolo Heimulli at Balmoral Lee Gar in Auckland New Zealand (Ray Sefo, Mark Hunt, Eugene Bareman, Jason Suttie etc.) and your principles feel natural with BLG's striking system. Salute bro! this is a great vid. ps. The 🌲made this video deep 😅🤣
great thanks
You are welcome! 🤩✅
that pause was crazy
Amazing teaching skills. Give me the envy to put on the gloves and join in that place damn.
I have really been enjoying this page lately I’ve been in this game of very long time 4 decades. There’s so many people out there teaching technique a lot of good a lot of bad. But I love his style of teaching very detailed, and he doesn’t just show the technique. He has the young man in front of him and he asks him questions And makes him explain what he’s doing why he’s doing it then has him perform it correctly. It’s great it’s not enough to tell you have to teach. Great techniques, great explanations, great details, and I love seeing the next generation coming up in our arts going to be very talented. If He chooses to be a fighter he has a great coach, guiding him and he’ll make an amazing instructor in the future, Much respect to both of you.
Thank you so much for the kind words! Much more valuable content is on the way 🙏✅
Used Hips Crew checking in 🤜🏻🤛🏻 (Currently in Thailand training MuayThai & watching your vids on my down time🏴🇹🇭🇺🇸)
Awesome, enjoy your time and we appreciate the views ! Ty 🙏🙏
Thank you
You're welcome! ☺️🙏
The most important thing this kid needs is a big heart and a blazing fighting spirit. A fighter may have beautiful technique for muay thai, but if he has no heart he will never win.
GReat !!!!
Jesus!! Tito’s kick is so beautiful! This is the video I have been waiting on! Do you have any tips that will protect the knee while kicking? I have had multiple surgeries in my left leg and if my kick is even remotely wrong it can cause some crazy pain.
Coming soon! 🙏🙏
Kids really good I wish I started young but better late than never
Idk if I’m tripping but I’m pretty sure I watched you at the Tiger Muay Thai Tryouts. Regardless great videos, great technique both of y’all look sharp OSS!
KUP KUP!🙏🏾
Bro, I come to this channel because I love your relationship with Tito. I always hoped for a such father-son relationship with my dad, and now the goal is to provide it to my son. But to be honest, this video improved my kick already, THANK YOU! I can't come train with you ( due to location), but I am interested to buy your course. I just have a question, where can I contact you directly? All Love from Egypt and Africa.
What do you think about going up on just the balls of the feet, lifting up the heel when turning?
Please do a video like this for the switch kick
The How To Muay Thai Switch Kick w Ease Tutorial! kzhead.info/sun/rcySnqqcrGOgoYE/bejne.html Enjoy 😁🙏
@@KMAAcademy2020 Quality content as usual! great in depth explanation. Thanks for the response
🔥
I remember this dude from Tiger MT tryouts video. I think he got his ribs broken in the clinch by TMT's savage middleweight Thai. They were going live raw knees 😬.
This is why Bruce Lee said swing from the hip for power.
This is a far most detailed explanation of MT roundhouse kick. My hips are extremely stiff and not open, what exercise would you recommend?
Thank you for the kind words! Coach Charles and Tito have their flexibility routine otw, make sure to subscribe so we can get that info to you! 🤩🙏🙏
Any recommendation where I could get me some new hips?
Is the kicking leg chambered or basically straight?
“Pause” lmaooo
🥊🥊
This Is Sick Seen This Guy In A Sithapaho(Sorry I Butchered That) Video A While Back Glad He’s Doinq Good And Still Traininq Muay Thai
I have the bad habit of tensing my rear legs glute, any exercises on improving this? My switch kicks are far more powerful haha
We recommend more shadow boxing, it helps relax the body and makes the technique more smooth! Check out the video we created over it, we’re sure you’ll find the information extremely valuable! 🙌🙏
Just a question, the middle kick has to be on the tiptoe ? 🤔
No, slightly off the heel however to allow foot to rotate. Thx for watching ✅
ahaha The longer the better. Pause.
😂used hips
Lol the longer the better. . . . Pause
Mouai thai guys please, please, lift the leg completely bend with the knee aiming at the kick's direction, then extend the leg. Why don't you do it this way, whyy ??? The whole leg is so heavy when you lift the whole thing to kick. And slower. And so telegraphed my God... And ugly too 😅 Go do some advanced Taekwondo classes, learn how to quick fast, with power, and without dialing your kicks. All the rest is gold to be honest, muay is an outstanding pratice. Much respect ❤
The first mistake is stepping on a flat foot. You can twist your ankle and wont have power. I would learn the Thais or Dutch Thai boxers for their boxing skills . 😔
with this way of blocking with your left hand on the side of your head, you will get knocked the fuck out once the other fighter times your kick and just steps into you and throws right cross straight to your chin
Nobody explains in this detail. Excellent stuff sir!
Thank you kindly!
