    • @@alexruwhiu7384 you must have seen my avatar picture, in tomales bay there is a diverse group of clams from geoduck, two types of gaper clams, Washington clams, razor clams, blood clams, and steamer clams. I target the first 3 species primarily but all the others I have caught as a bycatch. Steamers are easy so I let the kids do them. Clams taste great and as long as you are not drinking the clam juice it’s not salty. Sashimi, deep fried, in congee, salads, etc.

  • I was fishing for lingcod up here in Depoe Bay one day, and this guy taught me a trick to get your jig back when you get snagged. You release all tension on the line and you wait for one minute. Set a timer. Don’t apply any pressure until the minute is up. I’ve retrieved so many lures that way. It requires discipline. And patience. I’m telling you, it works. I’ve actually added a minute if it didn’t come free after one minute and gotten it back. Try it. It works. Like the Egyptians used to say thousands of years ago, “Or your mummy back.”

  • Yeah bro, 72 hour fasts become super easy especially when you cut out processed carbohydrates, refined sugars and hydrogenated plant and seed oils. I lost 55 pounds fishing and fasting and reversed my diabetes, fatty liver and high blood pressure. I also do a 48-72 hour fast at least once a month along with an OMAD style daily diet. The only thing I changed recently is eating more freely on the weekends but nothing too crazy. Thank you for inspiring me years ago. Your videos really helped me to learn how to fish, something I always wanted to learn since sharing fond memories of my Grandfather surf fishing when I was a kid.

      @ReefDonkey@ReefDonkey Жыл бұрын
    • @@ReefDonkey I do a ketogenic diet so once you're fat adapted you don't feel hunger like you do when you eat processed carbs and refined sugars. You actually have to remind yourself to eat. As long as you keep up with minerals by putting seasalt under your tongue a few times a day and keep some water in you, you feel satiated.

Fish are not always directly off the bottom. Especially, the big ones! In the summer months, you will get the real big fish off the top.

If you're just drinking water, you're losing minerals that your brain needs to keep firing. Try drinking gatorade or pedialyte. Take care.
