WATCH PART 2 HERE: • Greatest Redemption Mo... (Greatest Redemption Moments Part 2)
Mistakes happen all the time, but redeeming that mistake creates some incredible moments. Enjoy the best revenge and redemption plays in sports history from the NBA Finals, the World Series, and even the Super Bowl.
TO CLARIFY :
-Blount is here because he became a villain in CFB, but apologized to BSU and Hout, served a lengthy suspension, went to practice and class and could've ruined his chances at the NFL but instead is a 2x champion. If you say he shouldn't be allowed to play, you're overreacting as many commentators thought the suspension was too harsh.
-Just because a certain sport or moment isn't on here doesn't mean I'm a "hater". There's a reason that I ASKED FOR SUGGESTIONS for more parts to this series. So whining isn't the best way to go about things is it?
-Redemption does NOT have to be an individual, it can also be a team as a whole. I thought that was clear.

    • That's cool and all, but Blount committed assault. If you or I had done the same we'd be doing jail time.

      @coolerthanmoney4468@coolerthanmoney44686 жыл бұрын
    • It’s no different than people redeeming themselves in real life after issues with either crimes or drugs (Robert Downey Jr?). He could’ve let it ruin him but didn’t. And jail time for one punch that didn’t do any major damage are you kidding? I know people that did that and just got a warning. And look at high school fights too. Usually do much more damage than Blount did and get away with a short suspension.

Rangers were up 3-2 in the series and Freese was up to bat in the ninth with 2 outs, and down to his last strike and hit that triple to tie the game then comes back in extra innings to hit a walk off and ends up winning the series. He also won WS MVP just to top it off

    • World cup, Beckham gets sent off in the round of 16 (one game elimination). THe entire country blamed him for the loss, where even churches were saying that god hated him. He probably would have been mugged just for his name in some areas. He also got death threats. In 2000 he gave the middle finger to some fans after they gave him shit even after he got two assists, which seemed to largely end the abuse. He finally redeemed himself against Greece in qualifying for the 2002 world cup. In the last minute in the game where we had to win to get to the World cup, Beckham scored a free kick. Everyone loved him again afterwards

I watched the first innings of every single one of the games because it was a school night and who knew that fifteen minutes of rain could wipe away 108 years of a World Series drought. • Russel Wilson really had nothing to do with that NFC Championship win, it was all Green Bay choking and Seattle's defense performing absolutely stellar.

  • It was long ago, but in 1984, the LA Lakers lost the NBA Finals in 7 games to the Boston Celtics, in a series which they should have won had they not blown leads in the final seconds in Games 2 and 4. Magic made key errors in those losses. Jabbar too had some defensive misplays in the Game 4 loss. The very next year, the Lakers and Magic get their redemption when they knock off the defending champion Celtics in 6 games, with Magic getting a triple double in the clinching Game 6 and Jabbar getting the Finals MVP award. It was the first time the Lakers had ever defeated the Celtics in a Finals series, after repeated losses to their arch rivals in the 1960's. This was a great redemption story.
