  • Monfils seems like more of a comedic crowd pleaser than a student of tennis history, but he knows his stuff and does quite well in these challenges. Murray is also pretty strong. Nobody messes with Cilic though. I think Murray and Monfils would have to team up against Cilic to have a chance.

  • Wozniacki was once labelled as the choker who was consistent enough to get to number 1 but not good enough to win a slam. I was delighted to see her prove her doubters wrong at the AO18, which on hindsight was at the twilight of her career.

    @A_friendwithoutbenefits@A_friendwithoutbenefits Жыл бұрын
    • I don't understand one being her fan. She doesn't play attractive tennis. Barely a pusher. Very bad attitude and comes off rude on and off court. On the other had there are players who are better pushers like aga Radwanska who plays her heart out every single point. I can never understand someone supporting players like Wozniacki or vika.

    • Caroline Wozniacki was the year end #1 player in the world for two consecutive years (2010 and 2011). There are LOTS of players who have won one grand slam title.... but very few who have been the year end #1 twice. Even less who were year end #1 for 2 consecutive years. It is a much greater accomplishment to be a year end #1 - than to win a GS singles title. She won 30 WTA titles. It is a LOT tougher to win THIRTY titles than to win one GS. She won 60 or more matches in 4 different years. She won 50 or more matches in 6 different years. She won 40 or more matches in 9 different years. Much tougher to do that than to win one GS title. She had a great career and she will easily be voted in to the tennis HOF.
