I am not a farmer, and I don't have any particular interest in hoof trimming, but I am addicted to these videos. I think it is the fact that you are doing so much good for these cows. ❤️
Scotland looks like western Oregon In the United States. I love the weather here too. I have a lot of Scott ancestry in me.
Me too!! Good content. I don't usually comment either. What a big gash poor cow!!
There's something so satisfying about it I agree lol
Relateble
It’s just oddly satisfying like I oh so don’t have any interest in farming yet I still watch these
Poor little lady, can't imagine how painful that must have been. Hoping she has a speedy recovery
You just know that she instantly felt better
Why? She will be a hamburger by the end of the month anyway.

40???? I thought Craig was 30-35. You just have boyishly good looks, Craig. Happy BD!! So glad to see Kevin is walking so well. And, Graham, it's always fun to watch you help a cow in need and drink coffee.
Same. Guessed 30!
Just after he admitted he's actually 29 😂
It Scotland's wonderful moist climate keeps away the wrinkles.
Poor baby. The look on her face just makes me wanna hug her. You do such amazing work for these girls. Her little look back after walking off was like she was saying "That's much better. Thank you."
My only criticism is that you guys should always wear eye protection using the grinder. Manure laden hoof fragments would basically have you lose your eye to infection if it ever gets in there. Glad Kevin is recovering well, HBD to Craig, and congrats to your nephew. Hope life continues on a good track for all of you.
You can see him wearing a face shield in someone videos I believe!
@@red-road-rot4970 you can see thats not often the case, though when they do the time lapses
He seems to usually take care to make sure the grinder spits them away from him. Also, they likely have the materials on hand to disinfect themselves, should it happen.
@@TheEmeraldMenOfficial Most of which should not go in your eyeball unless formulated for it. Eyeballs are important.
@The Emerald Men Official Do you usually spray chemicals in your eye? I think the greater concern is dirty chippings spat out at high speeds could lacerate your eye and get cow poop in the cut (among other things)
What a blessing to see Kevin walking with his back straight! Happy recovery!
I am a Houston tx lady and have never been around a cow but I really like this man and really enjoy his show .😮😊
My name is Jeff Bice. I live in Fallon Nevada USA. I am a aeronautical engineer that designs wings for super sonic aircraft. I am 63 years old. I live in an area that has 20 dairies. From very large at 3800 cows to small at 100 cows. Most hoof trimming is done by the large breed livestock veterinarians. I find your program very interesting and informative. I really like your cover music on your videos. Keep up the good work.
“ my name is Walter white, I live at…” yeah brother, don’t share your info on the internet. Everyone can see it, including people with the will and know how to use that info to help themselves at your detriment.
i love the sped up bits when you can see the other cows just chilling or watching their friends get their nails done it’s so cute
As someone who has chronic back issues I could feel how painful the walk was for Kev in that older video. Glad to see he is feeling better.
same here... got kicked in my lower back once with a steel-capped boot, which damaged a nerve (my lower back was black for weeks, but x-rays didn't show any damage to my actual spine which surprised the hospital)... usually my lower back muscles keep everything nice and straight, but once I get tired they stop doing that and a disc in my lower spin will occasionally start tapping against the bad nerve, which in turn will shoot straight down my left leg to my knee... annoying af, but nothing any doc can do about it since it's an 'occasional' problem... it stinks, but that's life... happy for Kev that he's walking great again and no longer in pain!
Yes looked so painful bless him
Wow! I’ve never seen a cavity that big. I can’t wait to see how she’s getting along in a few days. Please show us the follow up so we can see her progress. Love watching Hoof GP!
I don’t like the fact that a professional like you has to be reassuring people that you’re knife isn’t what is making the cow bleed. You’re the professional, nobody needs to be criticizing what you’re doing, what you do is awesome and nobody should be hating on you. Keep doing what you’re doing, you’re amazing❤
True...but I've seen that exact comment directed at Graham in the comments section of a different hoof trimmer's channel.
*your
Craig is 34. Thank you all for caring for these cows❤
Oooo. Poor girl!! I'm shocked she could even walk with so much pressure and pain! Thank God you gave her relief. A human would have probably fainted with a burst like that. Cows are tough! ❤️❤️🐄! Love the new haircut.
I think the burst relieved so much pressure that you'd faint from such instant pain relief! I imagine it like an empty bottle over pressurized with water, once the cap comes off everything inside releases and depressurized the injured area. I could be totally wrong, in no way am I an expert on ranching and such but just using an educated guess lol
As the son of a life long farmer, i truly appreciate what you do for these beautiful animals
Me too, same thought.
What you got for a farm? Dairy? Or Beef?
@@russellmargaglio4948 it was a dairy with some hogs
@@barebones7399 nice! How many head?
@@russellmargaglio4948 if I remember right it was roughly 300 head at most, it seemed like a huge farm as a young man
Thanks! Your videos do this old farmer good. It's like going home.
I know this is a bit of an older video but I’ve been binging them lately so doesn’t matter to me 😅 This is one of the biggest cavities I’ve come across on your channel so far though! Just imagine your insides are rotting and not being able to tell anyone.. I’m so glad you could help relieve some of her pain you’re doing such good work!
I suffered from plantar fasciitis for years, and every step was like my heels were full of broken glass. When you talk about how those cows are feeling with all that pressure in their feet, that’s what I think of, and I think of how absolutely wonderful it would be going from so much pain to so much relief in the matter of a few minutes! You guys work modern miracles every day, and I am so glad to see it, keep up the good work!
Been there done that. Plantar Fasciitis was probably some of the worst pain ive had aside from a severe sprain. To think about that to an animal that size and walking on what is a fluid filled injury... >.
I have this too
I think anyone who has ever experienced serious foot pain can empathize. Every step is just horrible. Abscesses are so unbelievably painful because of the built up pressure. The relief would be instant.
I’ve had this too, & as a dog walker at the time, it wasn’t fun. When I gave up walking dogs it took around 18 months to settle
@@julzcarpenter5431 Insoles helped me out big time. Resolved min in about a month or so.
Happy Birthday, Craig! It's so good to see Kev back on his feet and doing so well! That wasn't a hoof cavity, that was a small canyon! Great work, team!
Poor girl!! She was shaking in pain. You guys are amazing!
I love the way she stops and turns to say "thank you" - you are doing Gods' work, relieving pain!
Thanks! I am mesmerized by every cut of your knife. I appreciate the care/ empathy you have for each cow. I have watched so many of your videos, and feel from my iPad that I could take a try at that hoof, of course that isn’t fact. Keep on healing cows!
The haircut looks great. It's great that Kev is recovering from his back pain. Happy Birthday, Craigie!
Are we going to talk about Craig's hair? He's got hip hop Eddie Munster going on.
Poor girl!!!😮 Hey she's walking now... Love the work you guys do❤❤ AWESOME
So happy that cow got that relief! That shot with the cow looking at the camera was so sweet.
The amount of pressure relieved when that erupted was amazing!! She’s such a beautiful girl. Thank you for all the help you give these pretty ladies!🐄❤️🐄
I'm guessing Craig is 34! :) OH MY GOODNESS! That is a huge cavity. She must have felt such immense relief when that burst open. Thank you for helping her. Wow!
I also think 34
I really enjoy seeing the cows walk out of the crush. Those first few steps are are still guarded, but they quickly find that block is taking care of them. Great work as always.
Specifically YOUR videos lag my computer... but it's worth it. thanks for taking care of the cows. I'm proud to be a member of the herd.
Wow! This really is the biggest cavity I’ve ever seen across the board. Job well done GP 🙌🏻 Your work is beyond measure! ❤
That's what he said
First off the hair cut looks great, but your wild hair was fun to see. ( like my son's) I guess Craig is 38, and God Bless the Dr who took care of Kev's back. When you were trimming the cows hoof and all the pressure was released I felt for that cow. It's wonderful to know their are people like you who really love your work taking care of these cows.
I was gonna guess 37ish so maybe one of us is right 😉
And these poor dears have so much pain, on their feet all day! Thank you!❤🐄
I don’t know why I find this, so interesting, but I do and I keep watching over and over and over.
Your wife is a keeper for allowing to be filmed first thing in the morning...
I'm waiting for the day where she just has enough of it and screams "Graeme, get tae f@£k!" down the camera while swinging a rolling pin at it. No but seriously they seem like a great couple.
And she’s beautiful! Not even just saying it. She really is naturally beautiful.

I don't do anything with cows but watching these videos and got me addicted😂😊
I have nothing to do with cows, either. But I am hooked on these videos. Also, so are many of my friends. I never knew.
Love watching this guy do his job and does it with knowledge and love. It is obvious that he has heart for man and the animals he works on.🐄🌹
Wow, from the force of that explosion even after the initial seepage and the amount of the drainage, that cow has to feel much better! I know she'll still be in pain for a while, but having it being able to drain, getting the weight off it has to make a world of difference. I'd imagine it's a great feeling to be able to help cows and the odd bull by alleviating their pain. Nice job! Happy Birthday Craig! I hope you are having a wonderful day!
Yowza…no wonder Miss Cow was not even putting her foot down. Must have been excruciatingly painful. Bet she was thrilled to see you and the boys rolling in, Graeme. Looking forward to seeing how she progresses. Good to see Kev able to stand straight and walk without pain. Happy Birthday Craigie. And, on behalf of Mrs. Hoof GP - leave the good mugs at home, boys 👍🤣.
I enjoy this more than I ever imagined I would the caring nature for the cows is so heartwarming and getting to see Scotland's landscape from so far away is just lovely Lisa from British Columbia Canada
Craig is late 20's maybe 30 years old. I am a nurse, his baby face gives away, TOO CUTE!!!😊🎈🧸
While it is not the worst issue we've seen on the channel, it is indeed the biggest cavity, in terms of how much space there was inside the cavity, that we've seen, and that's saying a lot, as we've seen a lot of cavities. The pressure buildup was insane, with how strongly it spurted out when you opened it. The pressure was also over the whole of the foot, as that's what you removed. It must have felt like having your foot in a vise and having to walk on it. I'm glad you crossed her path and sent her on her way to recovery. As comfortable as possible!
Oh! That poor girl! Imagine the relief from all that pressure. Happy Kev is back and feeling better! The relief of successful back surgery is miraculous. Happy BD Craig! Wonderful that farm takes in cows that have problems. Thanks for taking such good care of all those lovely cows.
Congratulations Kevin. I’m glad you’re feeling better
Such a humble guy to be the very last word in his profession. The way he cut that perfect circle around the hole while reassuring us his knife wasn't causing the blood. She's in the best hands.
And then the turn and look at the human who made her feel so much better already by relieving all that pressure. Thank you Graeme. Great news Kev, glad you are feeling much better! Having had back surgery myself, I’m happy for you! Happy Birthday Craigie-boy! Happy 🎉🎂🎈🪅🎁🎊 Congratulations 🪅👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🎉🎊 Leo! Good job! My granddaughter Jordan is getting hers today, here in Oklahoma.
I love how much you care for the cows you work on and how important to you that you do everything to take their pain away !!!
I love how he loves these awesome cows. What a good man he is as well as those who help do the work also. Just great guys.🌹
Great to see Kev back on his feet. Absolute salt of the earth. Hard working, doesn’t seek out attention and has always had a decent haircut.
Kevin walking much straighter now, good to see him back. Happy Birthday to Craig! That explosion of pus was awesome 😁

I'm kind of surprised how much I like not just what you do, but you guys as well

Mrs GP has such a beautiful complexion! Spine surgery is magic! Healing is rough, but standing up straight without pain is awesome!
You are outstanding, Mr Hoof GP - and your empathy/compassion is wonderful. Thank you.
I like the soothing music during the stressful parts.
Hello from Sweden! I have no livestock and no animals bigger than my three cat girls. So no ties whatsoever to what you do but happened to see you by chance now you are my KZhead favourites. I am so fascinated by your/your crafts and skills with a natural gift to entertain. Continue like that! Love you all!
OMG that poor, poor cow 😱. Thank goodness she has someone like you and the boys to look after her. Well done 👍. Love watching by the way 👍❤️
First hoof trim I've seen you do make me cry. Thankyou for taking care of her.

I love when you show us all the little extras (like tying your son’s tie and drinking coffee). And I love the music! This was a really good one. Happy Belated Birthday, Craig! Definitely didn’t think that girlie’s cavity went so deep, but it was satisfying seeing it all cleaned up!

Talk about making a world of difference to that sweet girl. Glad that you were able to get her seen to, and that Mark & his team can keep bringing her along the road to recovery.
