I've noticed a clipping issue with the back wheel, if you look at the brakes they clip through a lot of the rims especially on the street tyres but I noticed it in the other ones aswell

Second gen is pretty cool, but I always loved the first gen due to its appearance in Transformers ROTF as one of Decepticons in Shanghai battle. When this silver R8 with Black trim and White stripes from hood to trunk turned his headlights on, I simply fell in love with how wicked it looked.

Fun little glitch about this car. When your door falls off the mirror changes to secondary color. I put my secondary to yellow cause I wanted my brake calipers yellow, and all the sudden when I accidentally crashed and my door fell off, the mirror turned yellow lol

You mean the mirror on the broken-off door, or the one on the still-attached door? Because if you mean the first option; that happens with a lot of cars, I think the paint color and livery are the only details that a door keeps when it breaks off. For instance, on various lowriders that can have speakers in their doors they disappear, on various Arena War vehicles the armor plating disappears, and on the Kamacho the entire door model changes (the broken-off door always looks like the stock door, even if you had one of the tube doors equipped).

if there was anything I would change, it would be adding an option for a fully black side air intake. Would’ve fully completed the look - since they’ve done similar things for other cars, like the ZL1 had super similar things to the real car, but it only did if/when the buyer chooses those parts after already buying it

I wonder if the benny’s upgrade will bump it up to the supers class like the banshee.. in midnight club LA, once you unlocked the r8, it was the only super car that started as a B class vehicle and once upgraded it was an A class. It was also top of the class in that game!

Fun little glitch about this car. When your door falls off the mirror changes to secondary color. I put my secondary to yellow cause I wanted my brake calipers yellow, and all the sudden when I accidentally crashed and my door fell off, the mirror turned yellow lol
You mean the mirror on the broken-off door, or the one on the still-attached door? Because if you mean the first option; that happens with a lot of cars, I think the paint color and livery are the only details that a door keeps when it breaks off. For instance, on various lowriders that can have speakers in their doors they disappear, on various Arena War vehicles the armor plating disappears, and on the Kamacho the entire door model changes (the broken-off door always looks like the stock door, even if you had one of the tube doors equipped).

i’m a porter at an Audi dealership in LA and when the rare opportunity comes up to drive an R8 they’re absolutely beautiful drivers i love it
if there was anything I would change, it would be adding an option for a fully black side air intake. Would’ve fully completed the look - since they’ve done similar things for other cars, like the ZL1 had super similar things to the real car, but it only did if/when the buyer chooses those parts after already buying it
Yeah an option for that side piece to go up the side of the car like the first gen R8 would've been awesome, I'm not too crazy for how it's separated into 3 pieces on this
I wonder if the benny’s upgrade will bump it up to the supers class like the banshee.. in midnight club LA, once you unlocked the r8, it was the only super car that started as a B class vehicle and once upgraded it was an A class. It was also top of the class in that game!

I think there are several vehicles that suffer from the wheel and brake clipping glitches. Sounds like a fix that they should implement. Also, great car review, DCA!

I've noticed a clipping issue with the back wheel, if you look at the brakes they clip through a lot of the rims especially on the street tyres but I noticed it in the other ones aswell
