So according to Broughy, the Vectre has a slightly better lap time than the Calico. Unfortunately it's straight line speed is lacking. And lowering the car to the competition suspension improves cornering, even though this car looks terrible with that amount of camber.

I really appreciate the time and effort you put into your customization videos and much like Kayden's comment I don't spend 2 million on a car until I've seen your video. Prior to finding your channel don't know how many times I've bought a car, customized it, drove it around the block and right back into the shop to sell it. If I may make a suggestion, before showing all the customization options on the vehicle switch your secondary color to an ice white or yellow so that all the secondary options show up much better on the bumpers, skirts and spoilers and such. I've got old eyes and it's not always easy to see the differences between the primary and secondary options on the different parts. Thanks again and you keep making them and we'll keep watching them!

When the expanded and enhanced edition comes out in November, I really hope we get most of the stock rims and maybe some new colors we could use on the cars (satin for example) and maybe some more in depth rim customization like you can in forza horizon. Just small QOL stuff.

At first, I was not really thrilled to see this car enter the GTA Online collection. Although modeled nicely, Lexus in real life don’t really seem to capture my interest. BUT when you showed that the front bumper of the car could look like a BRZ/FRS, THEN this car was a must have for me. I’ve always looked on the street and admired the FRS from a young age and was blown away by how you could make it look very similar to one. This car will make a fine addition to my “Would Drive in Real Life” garage. Thanks DCA for the customization video man :D

The giant grilles of modern Lexuses are the ones that look weird.. I applaud R* for adding the bumper mods that makes it look more normal or streamlined with the rest of the car's bodywork.

Idk if you've tried this, but I find it useful to start customization with Livery (normally don't actually pick one), then Respray, and then the bodywork. That way you know what basic theme/colors you're going for before picking the details like style and colors of bodywork

That’s the way it should be, I usually go a step further and choose random unmatched bright colors for the primary and secondary so when I customize i know what is going to be primary and what’s secondary and what’s carbon and to not spend alot of money on this process i use the cheap classic colors and ever since the last dlc if u customize your car in your autoshop the classic colors are free

One of the first color combos i started putting on like all my cars was spinnaker or Shafter purple (the one with a more blue tint to it, and then an ultra or racing blue pearlescent. I always liked the look of that because you had that nice blue (that pearl really brings out the blue in the base paint) with a subtle purple in it.

sometimes i really question your taste 😅 also i would suggest adjusting suspension as the very first thing you do. like you mentioned, it makes a huge difference to the look. imo better to have that set right before you go checking everything else out (makes a huge difference when choosing bumpers/skirts)

So officially I can confirm that you can unlock the trade price for a car before it’s dripfed as an update. I levelled up 10 levels. RNG skipped the Dominator and gave me this car’s trade price.

Funnily enough it is both the RCF, and the BRZ/86. That's pretty cool how they did that. Although the BRZ looks wierd cause it has to have the Fog Lights, and the roof is too high. But that's pretty cool. The lip spoiler is the stock spoiler on a BRZ. And tailights are extremely close to BRZ taillights

The holes in the rear bumper aren’t for weight reduction. They are there to stop air getting stuck in front of the bumper and so reduce drag. Given the ‘GT Bumper’ is presumably supposed to be similar to GT-class racing cars which often have those holes, it makes perfect sense, no?

The holes aren’t there for weight reduction, they are there help with airflow. Cause if you don’t add the holes on a race car the ir gets suck in there and it slows you down

So according to Broughy, the Vectre has a slightly better lap time than the Calico. Unfortunately it's straight line speed is lacking. And lowering the car to the competition suspension improves cornering, even though this car looks terrible with that amount of camber.

I really appreciate the time and effort you put into your customization videos and much like Kayden's comment I don't spend 2 million on a car until I've seen your video. Prior to finding your channel don't know how many times I've bought a car, customized it, drove it around the block and right back into the shop to sell it. If I may make a suggestion, before showing all the customization options on the vehicle switch your secondary color to an ice white or yellow so that all the secondary options show up much better on the bumpers, skirts and spoilers and such. I've got old eyes and it's not always easy to see the differences between the primary and secondary options on the different parts. Thanks again and you keep making them and we'll keep watching them!
For the longest time, I wanted one of the late body style Charger R/Ts -SRTs. Now that everyone has them, I want to a Lexus RC. Now that its game...I can style it how I want. That being said....I have to say this thing is awkwardly all over the place when driving.

When the expanded and enhanced edition comes out in November, I really hope we get most of the stock rims and maybe some new colors we could use on the cars (satin for example) and maybe some more in depth rim customization like you can in forza horizon. Just small QOL stuff.

They should add a color wheel and allow us to paint stock rims. This game, honestly, has better customization than most racing games nowadays but some tiny QoL features are missing. Hopefully Rockstar adds them.

It still is one of the best handling cars this update and has practically no wheel spin, this car also beats calico in lap times. It also looks better 😃😃
At first, I was not really thrilled to see this car enter the GTA Online collection. Although modeled nicely, Lexus in real life don’t really seem to capture my interest. BUT when you showed that the front bumper of the car could look like a BRZ/FRS, THEN this car was a must have for me. I’ve always looked on the street and admired the FRS from a young age and was blown away by how you could make it look very similar to one. This car will make a fine addition to my “Would Drive in Real Life” garage. Thanks DCA for the customization video man :D
The giant grilles of modern Lexuses are the ones that look weird.. I applaud R* for adding the bumper mods that makes it look more normal or streamlined with the rest of the car's bodywork.
Can't be as weird as BMW. Lexus has made the change slightly better. See how the grill still follows the lines of the front. Compare that to BMW's new models, which have the front modelled for the grill.

Idk if you've tried this, but I find it useful to start customization with Livery (normally don't actually pick one), then Respray, and then the bodywork. That way you know what basic theme/colors you're going for before picking the details like style and colors of bodywork

That’s the way it should be, I usually go a step further and choose random unmatched bright colors for the primary and secondary so when I customize i know what is going to be primary and what’s secondary and what’s carbon and to not spend alot of money on this process i use the cheap classic colors and ever since the last dlc if u customize your car in your autoshop the classic colors are free

Unless they add a car based on the IS-F, this is probably the closest I'll get to driving my real-life car in GTA Online.
One of the first color combos i started putting on like all my cars was spinnaker or Shafter purple (the one with a more blue tint to it, and then an ultra or racing blue pearlescent. I always liked the look of that because you had that nice blue (that pearl really brings out the blue in the base paint) with a subtle purple in it.
Loving this car! Although R* is recycling all engine sounds, the car looks really good. I went for a Silver Stock Build.

sometimes i really question your taste 😅 also i would suggest adjusting suspension as the very first thing you do. like you mentioned, it makes a huge difference to the look. imo better to have that set right before you go checking everything else out (makes a huge difference when choosing bumpers/skirts)

So officially I can confirm that you can unlock the trade price for a car before it’s dripfed as an update. I levelled up 10 levels. RNG skipped the Dominator and gave me this car’s trade price.
Just got level 50 yesterday. There's about 3 levels in which it didn't state I unlocked a trade price, so I'm expecting to have the trade price for the next 3 cars that are releasing 😂

Wish R* would add new colors. We've literally had the same colors since 2013, and I think it's time for a change. I mean they've added new wheels so new paintjobs is long overdue.
@Curly Cat but it's not a user friendly method at all having to join and leave crews, constantly having to change sessions just to see how you color even looks in game. Just add custom hex code painting baked into LSC shops and charge more if you like, idk double the price or something.

Funnily enough it is both the RCF, and the BRZ/86. That's pretty cool how they did that. Although the BRZ looks wierd cause it has to have the Fog Lights, and the roof is too high. But that's pretty cool. The lip spoiler is the stock spoiler on a BRZ. And tailights are extremely close to BRZ taillights

The holes in the rear bumper aren’t for weight reduction. They are there to stop air getting stuck in front of the bumper and so reduce drag. Given the ‘GT Bumper’ is presumably supposed to be similar to GT-class racing cars which often have those holes, it makes perfect sense, no?
