  • Toews really had a genius plan. He went with a simple quick shot from the hash marks which not many people do and it caught lots of goaltenders off guard. Once they figured him out he knew he could fake a shot from the hashmarks and go for a deke making the goaltender react too early. 1-2 punch

    • @@DeltaHighlights That's why it's called a signature move. He signed that shit. Hence why it should be in the Signature Shootout moves compilation. Edit to add: it should probably even be considered like a platinum level signature move, since it was a one offer since he was more defensive. Makes it more valuable that way. If anybody could just repeat it over and over, it loses value.

  • The Gagne one was so unstoppable because he would sometimes do the move but just continue onto his back hand and score cause goalies were starting to anticipate this move then after he started going back hand he could just pick at will and goalies had no idea which move they would see cause they looked the same on the entry but the finish could either be backhand or forehand.

  • For me, the jury's still out on whether Raymond's stop and spin is legal. I'd also like to see goalies stopping that Kuznetsov mind trick!

    • I really feel like it shouldn't be, I understood the rule to be you need to approach the net, moving backwards should end the attempt

    • I got some for you if you want them: Mat Hendricks and his fake shot-backhand- forehand Ryan Johanssen and Matt Zucharello with the dead controller Thomas Vanek with the around the world Kane's slow down and quick backhand high glove (very similar to Sykora's except Sykora didn't slow down) Brian Rolston's clapper 😁

  • Datsyuk did the backhand to forehand nearly every time. It worked almost every time and I was still disappointed. I wanted something insane lol.
