@DeltaHighlights Жыл бұрын
@@DeltaHighlights That's why it's called a signature move. He signed that shit. Hence why it should be in the Signature Shootout moves compilation. Edit to add: it should probably even be considered like a platinum level signature move, since it was a one offer since he was more defensive. Makes it more valuable that way. If anybody could just repeat it over and over, it loses value.

datsyuk hands down magic with the puck
Adrian Aucoin… the hero that we didn’t know we needed. 😂
He really was money in the shootout...
A fun fact is that in french « Au coin » mean « at the corner » or « to the corner ».
Two straight minutes of Datsyuk. Works for me.
😂❤
The magic of Datsyuk
It seemed like T.J. Oshie got 10 minutes of this video 😆.
So glad you included Franz Nielsen’s Danish Backhand of Judgement. It reminds me of Mariano Rivera’s cutter, even if you know what’s coming it still gets you
always loved Mikko Koivus it was just so simple but almost always worked
This should be called “ All Datsyuks signature shootout moves.”
Koivu’s backhand was unstoppable
I came down here to find out if I'd have to complain or not for part 2, glad I don't!
It’s so effortless
The fact that he pulled it over so early while his body position didn't change really messed with goalies and their timing. Really hard to shoot too from that position which is why you don't really see anyone else doing it
TJ Oshie’s precision in shootouts is amazing. He beats goalies in so many ways while making it look like he barely even tried, dudes just a wizard
Frans Nielsen is better
@@frederikbrandt424 debatable, Oshie has a higher percentage than Nielsen with only 2 less goals on 9 less attempts
I’m a wings fan and I was surprised you didn’t have the Forsberg on here. Zetterberg used that for the rest of his career but Forsberg was sick with it.
I dont know if there is another Shootout move that is named after someone than Forsberg? Anyway that should've been there at the end!
@@TuomioKas much as I hate the "move" the no touch from kucherov. But Forsberg's shootout is definitely the most iconic move
Barkov reminds me a lot of Datsuyk , very cool , calm and collected
as a Canucks fan growing up, didn't expect to see Burrows or even Raymond here because they usually fly under the radar for this kind of stuff but glad they got recognized!! Good job and thank you
Luckily for me I’m a die hard Canucks fan haha
@@DeltaHighlights luckily or unluckily :(
Thé spin-o-rama was so nasty they made it illegal miss that move for sure
@@DeltaHighlights Be glad cuz they'll be bringing home da Cup this year!!!!!!!!!!!!
From Richmond or Coquitlam IKEA?
the raymond spin is so illegal🤣
it is now they banned it cause of him im pretty sure
The extra element of snowing the goalie to interfere with them mid attempt was kinda crazy. You even started to see Raymond realize how good it was and started to add it more
i was about to say wtf i cant do that on NHL why can he lmao
This is so cool and fascinating. They sometimes repeat the move with the exact same stride, timing and everything. I imagine they practiced these since they were kids in the driveway.
As a goalie, I'd love to see the other end of this, goalies stoning superstars in the shootout
Hard to believe it took so long for them to implement shootouts instead of ending in ties. These highlights are awesome. Am I the only one that feels bad for the goalies? They make it looks so easy.
So happy that the man, Mikko Koivu was included.
One of my favorites was Thomas Vaneks around the world move. As he’d approach he’d move the blade of his stick around the puck and then snap it home. So quick and clean. Surprised it’s not included.
maybe it could've been if the distinction between a "signature" move and a "go-to" was more clear. Half of these were just guys faking and roofing the puck...not really a signature move if half the guys in the league use it
I was thinking about Vanek's breakaway slapshots! but i don't know if he did that during shootouts as well
"You could have use da sun dial to time that opportunity." That's hilarious commentary at 3:05!
That datsyuk backhand to forehand deke was so good because he used to do that same first movement and shoot off of it, similar to the barkov move but with two hands
While the Barkov and Texier moves are sick cause they’re one handed you gotta admit Oshie having at least 3 signature shootout moves is the probably most impressive. Datsyuk is probably the smoothest but Oshie is just deadly cause goalies literally have no idea which signature move he’s gonna go with.
same with datsyuk
I wouldnt say Barkov is a one trick pony eather but hey thats your opinnion
Я согласен с вами. Оши удивительный в этом деле. Он один, обыграл всю нашу сборную на Олимпийских играх в сочи 2014.
That move that datsuyk invented was by far the sickest move I ever seen an nhl player do. I remember that game in dallas and he did it at full speed. The whole arena was silent like wtf did we just see,
Barkov has other moves as well, that's just "the signature move".
How could you leave out Datsyuk’s goal against Chigago where he floated the puck over top the goalie. Arguably the best shoo out goal ever
He only scored on that move once, so that’s why it’s not included
@@DeltaHighlights That's why it's called a signature move. He signed that shit. Hence why it should be in the Signature Shootout moves compilation. Edit to add: it should probably even be considered like a platinum level signature move, since it was a one offer since he was more defensive. Makes it more valuable that way. If anybody could just repeat it over and over, it loses value.
@@DeltaHighlights I mean, I only signed for my student loans once, but that''ll still go down in history. Signature Shootout Move with Freddie may or mac or whatever. You should do a compilation on that.
the flip that Omark did was way better imo, might not have been in the NHL, but still a great move.
@@DeltaHighlights The Chicago lob is his 4th rendition of the drag move. I don't think it works unless the goalie is overcorrecting for how he normally does the drag move. That being said, great video.
Oshies 3 moves are so disgusting. He singlehandedly destroyed Russia in the Olympic shootout. Best in the NHL. Thank you for including all 3 signatures dope video!!
No way Oshie couldn't do the Datsuyk move. Bascially no one could. A few scored trying to do it but it wasn't the same. He made Goalies look so far out the net it was disgusting.
Glad you included the shootout goat Frans Nielsen's forehand to backhand but his other move was a quick forehand five hole shot that made it impossible to know which move he was going to
DBHOJ!!!
Next edition should have Ales Kotalik's leg kick backhand move. Worked every time.
I came here to say this too. At 50% career in shootouts he is still top 20 all-time in proficiency. Scary good
GREAT video! Such amazing skill and talent on display. Thank you
Datsyuk also had that super confident puck flip move too. The guy was unreal.
Ah, Franz Nielsen The Danish Backhand of Judgment for us Isles fans. Nearly unstoppable. One of my favorite Islanders of all-time, which is saying a lot since I go back to 1972.
Toews shoot out goals are so nasty. He got so many goalie with the quick shot on the 5 hole that goalies took note of it. Then on his second move you can see how hard each goalie bites on his pump because they are expecting his quick shot through the 5 hole. I just love the game within the game of hockey.
I was getting so disappointed that I hadn’t seen jussi jokinen but I’m glad he was there in the end! Between that move and the Forseberg he used to pull off he was a shootout specialist! Great video!
Datyuk was pure magic with shootout/penalty shots, but there were a lot of other beautiful styles here too. Great video 👍
this was fantastic. ;loved the editing bleeding into the next shooter. all around fantastic video friend
After seeing Sam Gagner's last couple years in Detroit, I never would have guessed he had silky mitts
Buddy was demon back in the day
I'd forgotten all about how he used to always pull that move. Everyone knew it was coming yet it always worked
Him and Hemsky were the 2 brightest stars through the dark ages of the Edmonton Oilers. Heartbreaking whe we trade him...twice -.-
I was glad to see Koivu’s backhand made the cut. One person I thought was missing was Mike Ribeiro
Wolski would have been a perfect candidate for this. Great video, love the Oshie marathon.
That was fun clip 😊 Datsyuk brought back warm memories 💙
This taught me that if you have one move you do amazingly you'll go far in the NHL. Except Datsyuk. He has unlimited moves and they're all insane and they'll all send your jock to planetary orbit and make you consider a career in botany despite you hating plants.
Love these.
It's great seeing all the different teams Oshie ended up playing for
Great compliation
I love your content thank you for this
Most of the video was TJ Oshie and Frans Nielson
This video is GOLD
The datsyuk flip or shot is my fav move in nhl 22/23
Great video man. If you make a part 2, shoutout to Matt Hendricks, he had a sweet fake shot deke move that was pretty good and smooth.
The amount of Toews clips, thank you❤️🖤🤍
Could you include Hossa's slapshot shootout goals in part 2?
God I love watching goalies get toasted and pissed after all the shenanigans they get to pull 😂 could watch this all day
Incredible. No one missed.
SOMEBODY RECOGNIZE THE GREATNESS OF FRANZ NIELSEN
I had his team of the week on my NHL15 hut team and he was greatness
Danish backhand of judgement!!!
LMFAAAOOO 11:14 "three.. two.. one.. EXECUTE!" I'M LOSING MY MIND 🤣
As a hawks fan, there isn't a player that I respect more on an opposing team than Pavel Datsyuk.
The snap on Oshie’s backhand is awesome.
GREAT VIDEO keep up the good work mate
Deltas back uploading banger videos
Thabks for the 9000 clips of Gagne.
Awesome 👏🏿😎
Awesome video dude!
So sick!
Radom Vrbata is the all time leader in SOG and used the same forehand-backhand-roof job technique for most of those, I’m surprised he wasn’t included in this. Same with the Nikita Kutcherov no-move maneuver.
yeah using Aacoin from the yotes but excluding Virbata felt dirty
If there is a part two, you could include Mats Zuccarello. Lots to pick from Zucc.
it’s crazy how identical every mikko koivu shot is
I am an extreme huge fan of Nathan MacKinnon but this video makes him seem so basic with all the masterpieces you have included :D
Nice video! If you make a part 2, you should include Ryan Johansen’s “slow jo” as they call it.
Such a great move!
I wonder how many hockey fans that don’t play think they could do these moves. The players are so skilled that they make it look easy.
Great video! Would’ve been nice to see some kucherov shootout goals though 😢
Dawg I know I’m a caps fan but it is a crime to not put “the paralyzer” Matt Hendricks in this video. He had such a signature move and literally paralyzed the goalie
I love how the Raymond spinorama move completely confuses every goalie because they think the play is done, not to mention that one where he skates back then backhands it lol
Oshie the best in the shootout so much moves in his toolbox and has a good shoot percentage on a lot of attempts
I know we haven't done a 10 minute highline reel in a while but a Claude Giroux one might be nice to commemorate his time in Philly
And never won a cup
@@HMSvince77 ok?...point being?
@@seawolfe683 that heee sucks
Soon Suzuki will be here with his Datsyuk type move
Dont go that far lol
@@HMSvince77 he’s already done it like 3 or 4 times this year
@@TheDeeeen canadiens have great potential i gotta give credits for sure
24 stanley cups babyyy
The Gagne one was so unstoppable because he would sometimes do the move but just continue onto his back hand and score cause goalies were starting to anticipate this move then after he started going back hand he could just pick at will and goalies had no idea which move they would see cause they looked the same on the entry but the finish could either be backhand or forehand.
I saw the title of the video and went like "yeah let me check out again some amazing Datsyuk shootout goals".
I always start cracking up everytime Kuznetsov pulls out that slow ass skating, man just tries to put the goalie to sleep and it works like almost every time lol
For me, the jury's still out on whether Raymond's stop and spin is legal. I'd also like to see goalies stopping that Kuznetsov mind trick!
I really feel like it shouldn't be, I understood the rule to be you need to approach the net, moving backwards should end the attempt
personal favs are oshie, gagner and obviously datsyuk. i think oshie might be the best honestly
Would love to see more of the Juicy Jokes variation. Like Datsyuk and Oshie - he had one move with multiple variations.
I know Burrows, Nielsen, and Koivu all did it, but Radim Vrbata had an insane run of shootout goals with his backhand move
I need to make a part 2. I wanted to include him, but this video was taking forever to make
I got some for you if you want them: Mat Hendricks and his fake shot-backhand- forehand Ryan Johanssen and Matt Zucharello with the dead controller Thomas Vanek with the around the world Kane's slow down and quick backhand high glove (very similar to Sykora's except Sykora didn't slow down) Brian Rolston's clapper 😁
Datsyuk did the backhand to forehand nearly every time. It worked almost every time and I was still disappointed. I wanted something insane lol.
Dat Syuk juke, bruh! Someone should paint that thumbnail and hang it in a museum
Sam Gagner's fall off is wild, he was so good and then seemed like he just stopped trying
No way this guy made a 637337377 hour segment on Datsyuk and never had no Datsyuk flips in there💀💀💀💀
Hearing names like Burrows and Harding and Anderson with the Avs made me nostalgic as all hell.
Imagine having such a good signature move that even when opposing team knows it... you will still score.
I could see a netminder like Hextall or Billy Smith doing some serious damage to the super slow shooters with a heavy axe chop. ..Before or after shooting, finally.
Jokinen and Koivus are my favorite. And I am a biased Caps fan 🤣🤣
Put Datsyuk in the HOF already
