  • Stephen Graham killed it as Al Capone. And I’m part Italian American from Chicago. I didn’t know he was Jamaican or British. His native accent caught me off guard.

  • Wow. I never watch Stephen Graham movie where he acted as an Englishman. I always thought he's American. I don't know he's actually Englishman and uses a scouse accent daily. He's really a great actor. Just blew my mind 🤤

    • Yeah. Although I think everyone knew he meant to say ''He passed away before I was born''. Simple slip of the tongue.

  • Anything that he's in I will at least try it out. Now, just like every actor not EVERYTHING that he's been in has been an A+ or a 👍👍 project but you can bet his performance will be. No matter the script, or his fellow actors or Director. They may all be subpar for a variety of reasons and just like the flu or the common cold, strong negative energy can be catching on a Film Set. But it never seems to effect Stephen's final performance. He must be able to block it out. Only once before had I seen an actor overcome the shit-fest of a film and still give a boffo performance. I may feel differently if I ever see it again and maybe I was too high on that date in 1984 but that actor was George C. Scott and the flick was 'Stephen King's Firestarter'. I can't think of any movie or show that Stephen did that was as bad as 'Firestarter' but I'm quite confident that when it arises, and it will, he'll handle like Scott did. I like that he comes across as an Alpha and shite we have enough Beta-Boys in movies + TV. They want us gone.

    • They're unformal English, speaking with regional accent. We use to hear Standard English with Recieved Pronunciation Accent or BBC English from British people. So when we hear a regional accent of unformal english we couldn't understand it.
