Or out if the ‘ppaaarrrkkkkkkkkkkhhhhhhhh’ as someone from Liverpool would say…
Stephen Graham is the most underrated actor to ever live! He's absolutely brilliant!
He is insanely good
underrated by who?? wtf u talking about .....who are these people who under rate him
Hows he underated? I always rated him he can do any role, u mean you underated him? U seen him as al capone in boardwalk empire? Guys a genius
@@spunyballs everybody.... What you think he is rated as well as he should be by everyone? How dumb are you? How often does Stephen Graham get brought into the conversation of Greatest actors? Use your head son
@@nunyaplayz no I didn't under rate him. And just because you didn't that doesn't mean other people didn't.... Damn people need to start using their heads....
For a bloke who is well known for doing work which is extremely harrowing and miserable, Stephen Graham does have a great sense of humour.
I think you've got to, when you do such harrowing roles
Liverpudlians have a great sense of humour.
‘Isn’t that your fault though?’ YESSS!
What I like about Stephen is he backs you up, having a mate like that makes having a conversation so much easier when you got your main man laughing at your jokes and setting you up to do another joke.
He lives down the road from me. Brilliant bloke! When you see him in Co Op shopping and you get him chatting he’s so great!
James Acaster’s gunna dish outs some mussels
haha, that's exactly why I'm here
@@senorprofe6212 me too! 😂
😂😂
A politician once said "laws that apply in South of England don't apply in Liverpool and Manchester. They have their own ways of doing things")
Always haha
Chris Needham it is true the police don’t even bother with certain things here anymore
Who?
@@Lglover3 where ? Not liverpool the police will still punch you in the ribs and put you in a cell for smoking a spliff 🤣
We all know politician's talk shit though!
Stephen was absolutely brilliant in Line of Duty.Great actor.
Fucking brilliant he was
And white house farm.even though he played a asshole in it 😂
The whole cast were and I am not usually a TV or Drama lover but seeing Line Of Duty and The Killing Of Eve and The extraordinary Comedy/Drama Fleabag has shown me what I may have been missing...:)
And if you saw him with Lennie James in Save Me..... Wow, an absolutely incredible performance.
Noo, poor Corbett! Didn't deserve what he got
Stephen Graham is a British treasure. FACT!
gareth morgan I totally agree!! 👍🏻
He is a 1 foot big headed prick who shat himself when i told him what i thought of him. Prick.
Heavy weight if an actor, humble and totally genuine. We need people like him
@@bigmoney4685 no explanation?
@@bigmoney4685 wtf???
Imagine if he went for the “I’ll slay you where you stand” combo line 😭😭
@Garry Bee how's he being racist you fucking twonk
Mr dilkington, you are our most valuable customer
Holy shit. After watching him in boardwalk empire and the Irishman, I cannot believe he's got a natural scouse accent
have you not seen This Is England?
Steven Graham is a great guy, fabulous actor and all round good guy, Romesh is a brilliant comedian.
Historically, theatre plays, shows, entertainers played 1st in Manchester and Liverpool because the Audiences were so very critical. If the show, play or entertainer went down well in Liverpool and Manchester it was sure to be a hit in London and elsewhere in the country.
Great piece of info there!! Appreciate it👍💥
Ever since this is England Stephen Graham has been my hero. COMBO forever brah! love him.
99% comments about Stephen (agreed he is a legend). But can we appreciate Romesh’s initiative and his politicians speech 😂 we need more stand up mate 🙌
Stephen Graham as Al Capone in Boardwalk Empire is outstanding
Really, not seen that? Hes also in that new Tom Hanks war movie 'Greyhound' but Boardwalk Empire, I'll try and find that & watch it, cheers for the heads up
@@andrewisotope8146 if you’ve never heard of it you need to know that it’s a series and not a movie. 5 seasons of amazing television. Al Capone doesn’t play a large part until seasons 3 onwards but he’s there from the start
He is a good actor, but he looks nothing like the real Al Capone, let alone Italian.
They way he handles that is hilarious
Ste Graham is one of the greatest actors the UK has ever produced..probably THE best.
Daniel Craig pretty good.
Stephens Al Capone was done so well that I see his face every time I hear Al Capone
He dug himself out just in time! The lads were loading up the shooters! Make me laugh funny man!!!💥🤣🤪
I had no idea he was a scouser. He's had me fooled for years.
James u been living in a cave 😭
We really need a sarcasm font for people that don't get it.
Hmm...I think you're irony was wasted 🙄
In fairness he does often use other accents in his roles, despite effectively being a "professional Scouser."
This will go over many heads..
the thing about Liverpool is that they have produced many good comedians and many good bands and singers for over 60 years. it can be a tough city but it can be a heart warming city. if you ply your trade in Liverpool...you have to be good.they don't politely applaude like the audience at the Royal variety show in London who just want to be seen there in Liverpool.they demand the entertainment they are used to.
True but we, also, demand no "e" at the end of "applaud"....as you were...
Quality man ❤👍
Absolute quality 👍👍👍👍👍
Stephen Graham is a brilliant actor who deserves a Oscar because he is just amazing person.
This is 100% true! My dad went to see Paul Whitehouse when he came to liverpool, moons ago…he heckled him & he ended up being booed off stage & walked off! 😂😂
He's not having a go at the scousers.
True though, scousers are genuinely the funniest people you could ever meet, great banter and love the honesty!
Evidence for this?
Amazing to see combo getting on well with romesh very well lol
Thought he'd kick his face in
Milky
Stephen and Romesh is the double act I didn't think I needed Edit: I don't actually think this tbh just wanted to post the type of comment I always see upvoted under these videos and see if it worked (it did)
UBX same, I love both of em.
UBX so your just commenting for likes??
UBX tried myself recently funny how it always works
@@S-Mc84 Yes mate it's literally all in the edit 👍
@@usxnews1834 at least it wasn't one of those Stephen: blah blah blah Also Stephen: blah blah Really do my head in those, almost never funny and always get loads of up votes. KZhead is depressing.
I’m Canadian ..I had to look up what a scouser was lol 😂
*Happy 50th Birthday Stephen* 🍾🍾🍾
Basically made a gig in Liverpool sound like Anfield away
Ngl I thought I was gunna watch romesh tell us how he can beat salad in a penalty shootout
"salad"
Well I've never seen a lettuce kick a ball
I love Stephen Graham such a superstar.
I called my cat “Capone” in honour of this guy. Need to get two more cats. Cat-faced Nelson and Tony Pro.
Rumesh ranganathan is what we need to enjoy comedy 🎭 and a true guy that loves London but also loves his coulture am I right or wrong 😑
Stephen graham,what a man!!!
Scouse and Proud great show to all 😂👍🏻
Great actor the end of this England how great Steven was amazing
Love that Steven guy.
Well funny ! Great show
Haha both his eyes look in the same direction! Lolol
I have never found Ramesh slightly funny, Stephen Graham however has a natural quick wit which is synonymous with Liverpudlians or Scousers as well as being a marvellous actor. No contest on the funny stakes.
@@mrlittlemartian in what way is he funny?
I met a couple of scousers once in the Cavern club. They were a right pair of boring gits. No sense of humour at all. Wet lettuces...
I would say it's generally people of Irish catholic heritage who are funny/ quick witted & there are a lot of those in Liverpool .. just not all people from Liverpool. Same with Manchester, Glasgow, etc etc. The best British comedians generally all have Irish catholic heritage; Billy Connolly, Peter Kay, Frank Skinner, Kevin Bridges, Frankie Boyle, Jason Manford, Jimmy Carr, Lily Savage (Paul o Grady), etc
@@rabbieburns2501 I agree with you totally.
@@rabbieburns2501 Are you of Irish Catholic heritage?
No confrontation here just BS. Well it is Jonathan Ross so no great surprise.
Acaster recently promised he’d face off with Graham over what he said to Romesh. Has he not seen This Is England? 😂
😯 BLEASDALE!
Yes Liverpool and Glasgow are the same in that respect
Yep, all think hilarious .. but, generally not that funny, too loud, very tight with money & have an aversion to soap.
Hardest three uk cities to gig for this reason, Glasgow, Liverpool and Portsmouth
@@rabbieburns2501 That’s only in the east end of Glasgow where soap dodging is a way of life.
Shut up ya fanny

Great entertainment for Dry January! Stay sober, folks!
I read a review once when Dennis Locorriere of Dr Hook played a solo gig in Liverpool in what was apparently quite an intimate venue and just as he was coming to the end of a song, a mobile phone went off and someone in the crowd shouted out. "If that's Sylvia's Mother then tell her he's busy".
I get what Romesh is saying. I'm from Liverpool and I've been to see a few comedians performing here and there is always a few scousers in the crowd that think they're funnier than the comedian and constantly shot out during the performance.
Opinions they’ll be blue noses it there shots ! Missed
Stephen Graham one of the best actors out there, cut from the same cloth as Ray Winston.
Stephen Graham was awesome in the movie Snatch.
Ashwin Chauhan Wasn’t in the film Snatch I seen. But that blonde bird looks like the one getting DP’d by the two Nigerians !
The word Liverpool was cut off... Not what I was expected
Name of this video couldn’t be more misleading
Yes it could.
@@markroberts1604 no it really couldn't, there was no sign of a confrontation in sight.
@@Baldy_FM it could have said "Ranganathan punches his mother in the throat", and that would have been more misleading because his mother wasn't there. There are an infinite number of headings that could have been more misleading.
@Mark Roberts On that logic I retract my statement . This title is very misleading , high grade click bait
James Donnelly that’s clutching abit
Stephen is spot on and I'm a londoner!
Im from NYC and i go over to Liverpool a lot (i support LFC). Its true. Only city that compares humour wise is Dublin
Who got the laugh?.........the comedian or the actor??
Romesh is sharp af you gotta give him that :)
Stephen Graham is the best would rather pay to go see him in stand up😂😂😂
good back peddling at the end
Stephen graham is a legend,a perfect ambassador for our great city........
He did a story with the sun fuck him!
Nowhere else in the UK describes itself as a great city. Why is it so wonderful?
Hehe al capone in the room
Stephen Graham is awesome
Stephen Graham is underrated
as a Welsh man i think Liverpool is the best city in the UK
Scousers have the ability to laugh at themselves when faced with the stereotypical jokes, that’s class. And it’s allowed because they never whinge about being offended unlike a lot of people these days.
Paul Gore must just be your horrible Whiney accent then 😁
I think your missing the point.
@Non Compos Mentis do they?
Paul Gore Do you know every single scouser personally?
Brandon Shipley yeah! Brandon Shipley; know him well, everyone does. How’s it hanging Branno ?
Loved him as one of the clowns in an Arctic Monkeys music video. One of his best roles 👀
I'm sure Lloyd Griffith said something similar about gigging in Liverpool
Where's the confrontation?
...in Liverpool
@@EN4ORC3R well it's not in the fkin video I know that much. You know, that thing the title is supposed to be explaining.
right here *Flying spinning double flip two story dropkick to your head* Hyyyyyyyah! Caught you off guard, again.
You are making me laugh, my friend but I am not entirely sure why..:)
It was in The Green Room afterwards....
As a Scouser I love romesh watched the miss adventures I have watched Asian provocateur, ranganation and just another immagant he's a funny guy in a weird Carl pilconton sort of way

To come from a council estate like Kirby he as done just brilliant well done Stephen Graham
Good save at the end
Crawleys’s greatest export
The Cure?
The Clap most well known for.
A friend of mine went to see A league of their own last year, he happened to run into Romesh outside the studio building and asked if he could have a photo taken with him. Romesh turned him down flat! Hardly even acknowledged him. It hurt my friend, he understands that he may be a busy man but he said its the way he went about it and Romesh has always been a hero of his.
Bill Proud I dislike as this is horrible from romesh
I heard he was a dickhead as well.
Well in Stephen😉😉
You know, it could be that the city is distracted by there amazing football club right now. 😉😁
*their, not there.
I agree Everton is on fire 😉
I'm from Liverpool not bothered one bit. Norway might be happy though.
These two could be the new Morcambe & Wise. Romesh, would obviously have to play the straight guy, because Stephen Graham is the funny one.
That daytona though
Scousers reading the title: 😲👎😠👊 Scousers watching the video: 👍👏🤗💕
When I worked as a cleaner there was a Liverpudlian man on our team He is one of the nicest men I’ve ever met
Love scousers really friendly people
Stephen graham fuckin class actor period.
I love Stephen
I bet it's so hard to be a comedian,on days went you just can't be bothered
He was obviously bollocked in the break because he then tried to backtrack and say he loved Liverpool . The fact is in Liverpool their honest and if your shit your shit
... the apologizing bit was clearly a joke, a play on him being afraid of liverpudlians
Tree and a half million unemployed! Love a bit of Stephen Graham 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
Love Stephens response don’t diss my city lol
Why not? I've lived there for 50 years. I'm from the South and criticism of anything Scouse is not allowed. My wife and kids are Scousers so imagine what I go through.
Stephen is Bang On. If you aint funny? people DONT laugh. Its as plain and simple as that. (and this bloke is NOT funny! Imo)
