during a sight seeing tour a boat was soaked in water by a humpback whale that was putting on a show and it later swarmed off with its siblings. Its actually a baby whale

It's just that women don't always get the credit that we deserve, and people often assume it's a man doing something significant. The OP was just trying to be more specific. Furthermore, cameraMAN is not gender neutral, cameraPERSON is gender neutral.

  • I was on a medium-size sailboat once probably 200 miles offshore around Nova Scotia, and this happened. Good-size whale jumps out of the water with no warning whatsoever very close to the boat. It is fun and awe-inspiring, but it really reminds you how small you are out there, and how it's THEIR ocean.

As it swam away into the depths after nailing it's jump, , it is not inconceivable to also think there was a smile on its face knowing those few seconds of shared experience just created a lifetime of appreciation , wonder, and joy....

    • Whales rarely hit ships. I mean whales have been reported to protect people before. Whales don’t want to jump onto a boat in the same way a human doesn’t want to cannonball onto a table...it’ll hurt 😂 only way is if the whale is unaware that the boat is there which is most unlikely but not impossible ofc, it’s only an animal just like us
