  • revisiting this again. Ive spent countless hours on the heavy bag to your tunes over the years. Oh it's real heavy? Heavy strike time with knees and rights. Oh it's an upbeat track? Dance on the outside with jabs and just focus on moving and having fun. Mudding drywall at 1 in the morning with only a single worklight and a bottle of wine, jamming out to the interstellar track and dreaming of the future... these songs take me back and the songs have class, vision, and soul in a way I haven't seen as of late. and now the future is here, and the songs keep on giving. I must have said thanks in another comment section but I'll say it again. Thanks man.

  • Maybe its the whole point, but this kind of music makes me feel like I have reached my end. If I imagine music as a whole as just one song, trip hop is the ending part where its just those final four bars being repeated over and over again in a decrescendo. It's sort of the end, but it never dies, its always going to be there. To me this is music achieving its immortality.

  • They play this music in my climbing gym and it's absolutely the best thing I can imagine climbing to, it's like a meditation, it's like magic, it gets me right into that flow state that's halfway between this world and the dream world where anything can happen. So I listen to this mix all day while I'm in the office dreaming about climbing at the end of the day, it makes me feel like gravity is melting away. Love it. :3
