  • was sitting in a meeting w/ a developer negotiating a contract and he had some soft jazz bullshit in his office playing in the background.....negotiations were beginning to stall so I switched the topic to his music. I requested he pull up this mixtape of yours and the whole world changed after about 2 minutes of both of us bobbing our heads in silence as we watched the Houston skyline below.....he stands up, says me sharing this mix is the greatest gift someone has given him in a very long time. Pappi Van Winkle bourbon gets brought out and we sipped and listened to the whole mix talking about everything important to us: music, family, love, life, work, art, God, etc. I leave to head home to the family wondering if this dude has the ability to conduct righteous business or not....before I pull out of their office garage I get a text saying the job is mine and that the meeting we just had was the single best business experience he has had in 40 years of building Houston, TX. The power of good, pure vibes and the connectivity created from the love of good music never ceases to amaze me. As always brother, thanks for sharing your art and thank you for all your hard work. Your art has the ability to change the world.....one interaction at a time. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
