She’s definitely an artist already! You don’t have to be a producer or composer to be an artist. Wendy has long been able to interpret songs and convey emotion in her singing, and that itself a type of artistry.

In my opinion Wendy is one of the top singers in music nowadays. Not just in kpop! She really does truly know how to use her voice properly without straining it! And she is able to hit every note with clarity. And she does that both softly and loudly and with cresendo! Those are all signs of a few well trained vocalist! I just wish she would do a full English album! She knows English very well!

I beat you. I had an instant bias attack at first sight, which was literally 1 second and then she opener her mouth to sing l and I was a goner in less than 10 seconds. 7 years later and she still has that impact on me 🤣🤣🤣
She always seem to look like she's about to cry when talking about these songs and how she imagines herself talking to her fans. It makes me so emotional how she said "My goal is to enjoy singing like I did back then" in 1:38. It's like a wakeup call to me how hard she must've been through on recovering to be able to do what she loves most, singing.

But anyways, as a fan, it was so nice to see her grow her confidence again & show it off on stage in 2019 & so heartbreaking wondering what would happen & if she would keep singing or ever come back at all after the accident.... I'm glad she has the members, her family, luvies, & even the support of the general public right now during her comeback/debut to help her gain her confidence again 🥲

She came back and recorded her first solo album. Shows how strong of a person she is and I'm so proud of her. Imagine attending her solo concert, I think I'll pass out from crying so much. Her passion towards her singing has always been sincere. @@suprith3072 Exactly. That’s similar to what happened to me . Music wasn’t really something I listened to everyday or worshiped . I liked kpop and a few song but I mainly like the idols cause they are funny , but I never really cared for music . It wasn’t until I met red velvet that I really understood how powerful music can be . I thank Wendy for that mainly because it was her voice that made me love music and now I can’t imagine my love without it . I listen to every song of red velvet because they are all so great songs and singers . They are the only artist that never fail to make me enjoy listening to there music.
Just listen the b sides and you are going to be so into them.. All the RV girls are so damn talented!! And someway they fit a lot of concepts and genres so flawlessly But I think they damn own R&B style

이렇게 7년차가 넘어도 꾸준하게 노래에 열정이 있으니 잘할 수 밖에없지 진짜.. 개인적인 생각이지만 아무리 생각해도 아이돌 여가수중에 단연 보컬면에서 압도적으로 탑이지 않나 생각합니다. 예전에는 컨디션을 좀 타는 발성인듯했지만 노력으로 극복하신것같고 표현력이나 갖고있는 소리자체가 워낙 넘사벽이라.. 인성도 실력도 너무 최고라서 보고 배우게되네요.. 멋진 가수!
