  • Y'all can claim your fave is the best main vocalist in term of vocal techniques, belting highnote, emotion, etc but Wendy will stay as all rounder female main vocalist cuz she has all the criteria mentioned. That's what we call pure talent.

  • this song is not just for the fans but for herself too, there's two Wendy on the video, one who was singing and one who was watching and in deep thought, it's like the Wendy who almost lost her all after the accident, but then like on the lyrics when she's about to get use to the darkness, she heard voices waiting for her and it gave her light where she truly belongs, this song is really deep and emotional, I honestly teared up listening to this along like water because both songs has deep meanings about experiences and gratitude ㅠㅠ

    • I felt the reason this was the first track was because it's where the story she wants to tell starts. Feels like it's the darker/heavier of the title tracks and is her talking to herself. It's then followed by Like Water which has more of a feeling of overcoming something and gratefulness, and is her speaking to her fans. Makes sense they chose for it to be a double title album because the two songs tell one whole story.

  • I wonder how many people use this song to sing them to sleep. Idols are so fond of this song and I know why. The lyrics extends to those who are weary. It hugs you like you want to just cry but it gives you hope. Like a mother hugging and assuring her child that everything will be okay. This too shall pass. It's hard but it'll be okay.   • I get so emotional watching this. I can feel her frustration during her accident. She was even holding the mic when brought to the hospital. She must’ve had a lot of thoughts, psycho won awards without promotion, imagine if they did promote. She must’ve thought she held back red velvet since they didn’t want to promote as 4. She must’ve been scared that nobody will wait for her. Lyrics for this and like water conveys how grateful she is to us that we waited for her. I love her so much 😭

  • In first chorus, she was singing softly, comforting people but in second chorus, she went strong kinda speaking to herself because she wants to be comforted as well. The lyrics totally depicts the situation and her way of singing radiates her emotions

    • I think it’s the opposite actually! I think she sings softly at first because she’s not confident in her ability to heal others unless she herself is healed, so in turn she creates a story of self healing motivated by the need to heal others, she discovers at the second verse that she must be strong and direct in order to help others and that if she herself feels lost she won’t be able to provide direction to those who need it most. Her tactics totally shift from the first to second verse, she tries to soothe and calm before shifting her tactic and goal to empowering and energizing the listener! Just another take on it! 💕

  • SM has the lowest views in terms of MVs among the big3 in korea but I must say that they are musically inclined when it comes to music, lyrics, music videos, concepts, and vocals. they do not produce music merely for a trend, but what they produce are really masterpieces. i feel all the emotions when they produce ballad songs, it actually touches my heart, just like wendy's solo album, it screams perfection. the only bad thing about this is sm dont know how to promote their artists properly... tsk tsk.

    • Aespa and NCT are starting to change that now, Aespa especially, and it's really surprising cause sm groups don't get much views but Aespa have been breaking records on views and their fans have been streaming hard. Sm dont usually use ads on their mv but lately they been given to some mv comebacks especially their younger groups, also it a form of promotion since its pandemic they cant do the usual face to face fan meeting. They also have issues on their sm yt channel because of traffic (too much uploded videos) if they dont use ads the viewers count is much less than the other company. They need to create an individual acct for upcoming groups that they will be forming in the future. An “organic views” was set by exo in 2016 almost 18 million, no ads just raw count.

  • I keep seeing comments on Tiktok, Twitter, Facebook, even here on KZhead pointing out how Wendy’s face changed so much, also claiming how she’s getting a little “obsessed with plastic surgery”. This just shows how y’all are just mere haters who only points out negative things about people. She literally just came back from a year-long hiatus after recovering from fractured pelvis and injuries to her face and wrist. She fell from over 2 METER stage, which is equivalent to more than 6ft. She had to have this surgery. And it’s her body anyway. Whatever she does to her own body, it will never take away her talent. Appreciate her for who she is and what she gives to the music industry!!

Another singer from another famous Korean girl group (I wont mention any names) has almost 100 mil views on her solo release even though she is an inferior singer.
