About this van:
It was during the Covid pandemic that Jennifer decided to build out her van Sage and commit to full-time vanlife. Her campervan van conversion is so homely and beautifully finished, and definitely one I'd love to live in. I especially liked how she did the partition and hidden natures head toilet. Really stunning job and definitely one worth checking out!

  • This may not be the most space-efficient, high-tech van conversion I’ve seen, but it’s one of the only ones I’ve seen that actually feels homey.

    • ive seen a few thats feels homey and still very very efficient, BUT yet to see one that has all of the above and a small bathroom, ones with bathrooms tend to be very tight and not homey at all or lack in other areas such as a kitchen or cosy bed area!

  • I can vouch for the composting toilet. My in laws have one on their sailboat, and as long as everything goes in the right compartment, you rotate, and change accordingly- it never smells. There's an actual head with a sink and a door - and they put the toilet on a platform to raise it up. Which is a possibility in a conversion van, depending on the size. And no black water tank is great.

    @elisadinsmore231@elisadinsmore2312 жыл бұрын

      @MacroAnarchy@MacroAnarchy2 жыл бұрын
    • The spaciousness is an optical illusion from the filming techniques used. Very common in van life videos and stills. It makes it looks bigger than a regular RV. Living in one is when reality hits you. Good start is to take a roll of masking tape and tape out a full size floor plan for the vehicle you are interested in making the build in.

Some have sold their homes or refuse to pay these outrageous rent prices, AND, a lot of people work remotely now so there really is no need to stay rooted if they don't want to. I would love to have a well equipped Van to take out on the weekends or for a week and just explore and travel while keeping my apartment.

How is it done? Also there's probably a weight limit for these kinda builds but does that take into account the supplies and resources too? I wonder how it all works.. May it's because you managed to make a balance b/w your travel passion and comfort. 😍 And i always thought why no one points out the fact " toilet within kitchen area" coz it gives me Shiver. That's was honest of you. In short I LOVED YOUR HOME. ❤️
