  • Thank you🙌𝓜𝓪𝓵𝓪𝓜𝓪𝓵𝓪😘nice commentary👍Masterful hunter, sheer strength! fair distance dragging the spoils. Utterly gorgeous💞cub, too cute. Meat for her means milk for them. Battle scars on a few Bruisers! nice large herd moving through, no guessing what follows them. Stunning images, very picturesque💓

  • Oh bless... The Island female is a gorgeous girl, and what an amazing mother she is. Seeing a herd of buffalos and elephants playing water never gets old. I always enjoy your videos. Thank you 🙏

  • Young cub wanted to play with the meal before mum grabbed it. I enjoy watching the ellies play in the water. They thoroughly enjoy the playing and splashing. Watching them communicate to one anther is fascinating. Thanks for doing this.

  • The Island female is truly amazing. Beautiful and powerful. She showed such strength and stamina in dragging that nyala back to her cubs. The speeded-up buffalo footage made me giggle. And anytime I get to see elephant in the wild is a good day.

  • Way to go beautiful Mama, 'you rock'. Such strength and stamina within this beautiful leopardess, the instinctive need to provide for and protect her little cubs is a joy to see. Hoping the second cub is somewhere close by and will respond to his Mamas calls. As always MalaMala, great video, thank you so much.

I was enchanted to see the juvenile behaviour of Island Girl's cub practicing on the Inyala carcass, Also, the two young bull ellies with one clearly dominant over the other. • Amazing mom. Also you said 1 of her 2 cubs is the other still alive? And 1 more question...the little cubs like that need their mother to open it up to begin eating is that correct? I watch a lot of nature live wild animals leopard being one of my favorite. So with what I've learned my understanding is that she does have to open it up first for the cubs aren't strong enough to yet. Thanks for the wonderful viewing pleasure.

  • [Edited: My concerns have been allayed.] I can't help but feel that if you're so close the animals are looking right into your camera, and being disturbed by, e.g., camera sounds, and are habituated to engine noise... you're too close. But I'm a layperson who's never been to South Africa, has no idea what the realities on the ground are... =/

    @Ice_Karma@Ice_Karma2 жыл бұрын
    • Hi Ice Karma, we've built up a relationship with these animals over many years and we are privileged to view them at such close quarters. There are many reserves around Africa where this relationship has not been established and the animals show clear distress at having vehicles around them. In these cases, sightings tend to be fleeting since the animals will run away. If these animals were uncomfortable, they would dissappear in an instant and there would be no way for us to follow them. The only reason they let us view them at such close quarters is because of the sensitivity we've shown them in an effort to win over their trust, and clearly it's worked. Should they show any sign of distress (We can see this in their body language), we leave them alone and that's one way in which we build up a relationship with them. I hope this helps with your understanding... Thanks for watching.

As a huge 'fan' of the Pantherinae, I cannot stress enough how glad I am there are organizations like yours, working to preserve what's left of... just another precious ecosystem humans have managed to destroy. 😿 Pardon my ignorance again, is there somewhere online I can go to donate funds?

  • So fascinating offspring of carnivores just instinctively know to eat other animals. I wonder why they all, young and adults, lick the animal fur or whatever they're licking. Cant be bc it tastes good. Dirty fur..?? hmmm. And wonder if its a learned practice to rip open to get to the innards, Or if they know to do so instinctively. And if they learn the prey animals smells or learn from moma. Or if they'd know it naturally as well.
