The fact that the judges (who are all experienced musicians that should have noticed the pianist playing the wrong key) didn't point it out just proves that they're setting this girl up on purpose. "We need Simon Cowell" you mean the guy that regularly screws over his own contestants just for extra viewership and ratings? Can't believe people are still falling for this "reality singing shows" nonsense.

I didn't like when Luke was apologizing for what happened. She dismissed him and said "That being said, can I have a chair. She sang three verses and that was it. I'm glad she got dismissed and wouldn't be returning. Good riddance to bad rubbish.
I think he was being nice and trying to empathize with her while keeping a positive atmosphere for everyone. Seemed like he was being the bigger person rather than getting snotty back at her. Gotta love Luke! ❤

Doing a British accent randomly was really odd, saying with American Idol you can be anything? Just weird and 'off.' She had a decent voice but it's heavily overshadowed by her disrespectful attitude and odd tactics.
There are many TALENTED individuals that would love the opportunity to be on that stage and in the presence of the members of this panel. We just witnessed a lack of talent and overload of ego.

Read this online if true: "She later went on to attend Professional Performing Arts High School, where she was a Drama major." She has some background in acting. Seems like this was her way to gain national attention (she already has a relatively large following on TikTok apparently). She wanted her 15 minutes of fame. Idol was a stepping stone for her drama/entertainment career.
Apparently American Idol reached out to her to be on the show based off her viral tiktoks of mainly acting as well as singing. So they rlly just wanted her to be “the influencer” of the show-which I think she did well, it’s still bringing them views

Wow me thinks the ‘House of Villains’ just got themselves a new resident. Either that or some loony bin is missing a patient…..those eyes scream cray cray lol Being an American idol is more than just having a good voice. You have got to handle the entire worlds critiques and if you can’t handle a few constructive critiques without going full blown psycho then you vote to gooooo! There is a lot of narcissistic masks and shields covering up one deeply wounded insecure ego with this one and she about to get real humbled by entire world! I don’t think this one can be saved but I hope the sweet taste of humble pie will bring her back down to planet earth. My entire body feels tense and uncomfortable after watching this scary Mary.

I think her voice has a lovely tone. Additionally, I believe she was justified in reprimanding the keyboard player. However, Madai's lack of self-control will result in her being given a one-way ticket home - And I have a feeling that will result in some drama from her.

I wasn't a fan of Madai from the 1st audition. Being energetic and unique is great. KBlocks has that kind of energy, but it's engaging and fun to watch. But Madai's energy was rude and combative. Hopefully Madai will eventually learn the difference.
