  • The CB should protect the cable but how it protect it if the rated current of CB is higher than the cable current carrying capacity. Load current

    • For three phase , P = √3 VI cos I = P/ √3 V cos √3 = 1.732 , V = 415 , cos = 0.8 If you multiple these three it will come 575 Similarly for single phase , without multiplying 1.732 .. You will get 184 for 215v . Hope you understand
