  • So sad for Val, he was one of my favorite actors as a kid, favorite 2 movies with Val in them are Tombstone, and he'll always be my huckleberry, and the remake of The Saint, he absolutely killed multiple characters in that flick! I wish him all the best, even though I know where smoking gets people... trying to quit currently as well before I end up like Val, but without the money for top notch care...

What a commendable, thoughtful act for his son to provide his voice, and make Val’s character Ice verbally revitalized!! Great acting by Val himself 😁

  • I gotta say: Cruise refusing to do the movie if they wouldn't bring back Kilmer says a lot. Whether they're real life friends or not, I don't see why he wouldn't do the movie just because of 1 single person. The movie would have been a huge hit anyways, in my opinion; but, dang, am I glad he came back! And they did his character right, with respect, instead of just throwing him to the side like nothing. (Ackbar comes to mind. If you know, you know.)

  • I died last August. Doctors brought me back and I had emergency open heart surgery then two months unconscious while on life support. When I awoke I couldn't move or speak. Difficult asking for help without any way to communicate. I was finally given a piece of paper with abc's so I could point and spell out words. I spelled poop to the nurse. She looked at me and said what? I spelled poop again. She kept saying she didn't understand. I didn't want to spell shit. And I couldn't spell out sentences. It took all I had to move my finger. Finally a lab tech came into my room. She asked him to see what I was trying to communicate. He said you have to have a bowl movement. I blinked my eyes for yes. I was thinking the whole time that I got the dumbest nurse in the hospital, everyone knows what poop is. I feel for anyone who can't speak or move. I finally got my speech back after 3 weeks. took another month to get my arms to work and two or three months to get back to walking. I still struggle with it all.
