Yo, because Bitwig renders on the GPU, we can treat it like a game and put shaders on it. Big news for theming fans! PLEASE TREAT WITH CAUTION. DONT CALL SUPPORT. USE ON YOUR OWN RISK. 😂 reshade.me

And with RTX On, delays and reverbs sound even more natural thanks to ray tracing.
Ray is such a good guy. He makes everything good
I know nothing about reverb technology, but this seems to actually make sense to do haha
@@maxandersmusic In fact, a similar technology has existed in hardware reverbs for decades. A good representative of an emulation of one of these devices as a VST is the Quantum Room Simulator from Savant Audio. In my opinion, it is one of the most realistic sounding algorithmic reverbs on the market.
@@sinus1nice !
@@agentslimepunk Wait until you meet Ray Tracking. I hear he likes Renoise better though.
This guy bitwigs! I just love what Polarity does for Bitwig and the community.
Finally people may stop asking "the question" 😂
😂
We all know what that is hahaha
This is crazy. Recently experimented with RTX on Fallout 4 using Reshade, but never thought about using it on applications. Can make it look unique now.
Imagine pairing that with modulators for synced shader fx. Would be crazy immersive to produce a song like that
Any mac alternative?
Nice one! It can be really useful, too. Just messed with the CAS.fx (Sharpening), can provide more clarity on controls and text with higher resolution monitors. Curves.fx and Levels.fx both can compress the dynamic range so that the GUI has more vibrant colors.
for now haven't found a way to stop it from loading reshade on each every tooltip, pop-up or context menu, as it treats those as separate processes or windows
Man, I miss the Battlefield 4 days.
When a video about you? I'm interested in your back story and how you got to what you're doing now.
That's so cool
Honestly had not thought of this. Brilliant and wonderfully silly!
sick 🤟
hhhh a genius idea💡
Now we just need to figure out how to modulate the bloom so it reacts to the volume 😆
Bitwig just should allow to adjust the accent orange color :(
you can literally do that with this
@@vVGistopVv biggest downside with this is that it will only work on PCs with the right hardware. great news for windows users with decent GPUs tho
@@vVGistopVv not everyone is on windows
@@WhatEver-tx7px Surely there's reshaders for macos too? I know macos is a bit more limited when it comes to graphics manipulation at the hardware level, but I'm sure someones made a similar to tool to Windows reshader haven't they by now?
@@SamHockingIt's a different, proprietary graphics api. I'm not sure if it's comparable to the process of implementing it on Windows. Knowing how restrictive Apple normally is, I'd be really surprised if it's indeed possible to inject a Metal shader on top of an application.
Interesting. Is this a per app thing or will it effect everything.
per app. Plugins look the same.
@@PolarityMusic OK, definitely interesting then.
@@PolarityMusic You can probably apply to the plugins too because they run in their own sandbox. the .exe are in the /bin folder for x86 or x64 plugins and the audio engine if in non-sandboxed mode iirc. I have each .exe set to run on the Nvidia anyway just to offload plugin GUI away from the CPU.
did they fix phaseing in channels ?
Awesome
what filter makes the thumbnail look shine like this?
Hast du mein glowing ableton video gesehen und dann geguckt ob man das mit Bitwig by default machen kann? ;D
ne tatsächlich noch nich! hohl ich aber nach! die leute fahren auf den blinkenden scheiss ab 😂
Game recognize game 💪
That's really cool about using reshade to change the color of the gui, but honestly having more stuff that needs to be loaded to use bitwig is annoying. I've always hated reshade loading for my games.
nice :D i just comment about your visuals...there we go :D
i hope bitwig add hue + saturation
Can you do this with Reason 12 ?
no idea tbh
What's that project called "Corpus" 👀
😅
Probably the best option for now until they add skins
hahaha yeah that's possible now. I might use this to mute things a bit, Bitwig is way too candy to me as it is.
How to change only orange color buy and orange is ok😀
Kann man damit auch was ähnliches wie ein darkmode machen?
yep
This is so stupidly unnecessary and still I'm probably gonna use this too haha.
Not my cup of tea, but really awesome that this can be done.
I guess what you're describing with the lookup tables is essentially what people want from themes. Exchanging some Colors. That's it. Of course it's not as practical as a defined function in the preferences and it's just a workaround. But now that you can swap the presets for Reshade, only a few people need to create some. So, those who can't stand Bitwig's colors won't have much to complain anymore. Thanks! :)
Does this work on older versions of bitwig?
no, you need the new graphics engine of 5.2 (which utilizes the gpu)
Ukraine, hold on!
