Hi i'm Joe, I have created this KZhead channel to show my progression from a skinny teenager who is sick of being skinny to hopefully in the future being more muscular and just better in general both physically and mentally.
If you do enjoy my content it would mean lot if you could hit the like button and maybe even consider subscribing. Thank you!

  • I'm 6'1" and my boyfriend is 6 '5". One time we were in the supermarket and we saw this east Asian lady who was definitely under 5' looking at an item on the top shelf. You could tell she was trying to figure out how to climb up to grab it. We grabbed it for her and she started smiling and saying 'thank you' which was the limit of her English. Just then I dropped something. I looked down at it on the floor. I have really bad arthritis and my boyfriend has a bad hip so the floor was really far away for both of us. That sweet lady picked up and handed it to me! The humor of the situation hit us and we all started cracking up. People kept staring at us which just made it funnier. But seriously, it's so much easier on the body when you date someone taller than you.

    @ak5659@ak56596 ай бұрын
    • How is it easier on the body to date someone taller than you? I'd assume any height difference, whether it be shorter or taller, would be more difficult than if you're dating someone who's around the same height as you. Don't need to look up or down all the time or bend your body to kiss.

      @SolidoNaso.@SolidoNaso.6 ай бұрын

    • @@ak5659 I guess you should have done stretching or some kind of body work when you were younger. I've been doing that 6 days a week and now I hardly ever have problems bending down. You can be as tall as humanly possible, but if your having trouble bending down to pick something up, you're in trouble. Also it doesn't really matter how tall your partner is in terms of you "having it easier on the body", whatever that means. Your partner could have been 5'0, and he could have helped you if his hip was good.

  • I am from Laos, 5”10’. Most of those venders are Vietnamese or people from villages. The best answer is to check it out at a college or university. This would give an average height. The uniformed man was a department security guard. Presumably he’s from village. City peeps wouldn’t take the job, bc of low salary. Often time, peeps from villages are minorities who are lack of basic nutrition, which may explain why they tend to be shorter than city peeps.

  • The calorie density of diet has no influence on height unless in a severe deficit or deficient in certain vitamins or minerals which an entire country or continent is likely not in. It is all genetic. South Asia is built up of many islands. Thousands of years ago when the first settlers arrived, there wasn't enough food to support their large body mass, so the taller, larger ones died out, and the shorter, smaller ones survived as they needed less calories to survive so over time the population height decreased. Studied this in my Biology degree recently so just thought i would clear it up but great video otherwise!

  • From my observation as a Southeast Asian resident, especially in Indonesia, which ranks among the top 10 shortest countries with an average height of only 158 cm, it is likely similar to Laos. I'm not familiar with Laos, but based on what I've observed in my country, the younger generation now receives more balanced nutrition, resulting in heights ranging from 168 to even 180 cm. I myself have a height of 175 cm, born to a father who is 165 cm tall and a mother who is 155 cm tall. I can conclude that due to globalization, our diets have become more universal and sometimes influenced by Western trends. Listening to stories from my grandmother, who only ate rice, vegetables, and cassava every day and had a height of only 150 cm, I am confident that this is 80% due to diet. However, they were not entirely lacking in food; they simply did not prioritize meat, milk, etc., likely because the warm climate is conducive to year-round cultivation, reducing the need for meat to fill their stomachs. Additionally, meat processing in the past was more complicated and expensive.

Genetics are the biggest factor though, your born with a certain height range and depending on what you do during 2 growth windows (ages 3-5 and during early puberty) will determine whether you reach your maximum or minimum adult height range.

Meaning if you brought a kid from Laos and raised them somewhere else, they wouldn't grow taller.
