I thank KoЯn so much for getting me through that time. the amount loops I have on Blind, Freak On A Leash, Children Of the KoRn, and Falling Away From Me must be atleast somewhere in the hundreds. it provided me an amazing distraction and it turned me into the Introverted-Extrovert that I am today.

And there's the faceless cries That twist my every dream And almost every night I hear the demon sing [Chorus] Why are we going on this way? Why do we play these games in vain? Nothing's gonna break it down And build us back again So why did the path have to lead this way? Black is the soul that's led astray You're leading me to places I can never follow [Verse 2] Happiness is found In darkest ways And as I search around I knew nothing but mistakes And there's the faceless cries That twist my every dream And almost every night I hear the demon sing [Chorus] Why are we going on this way? Why do we play these games in vain? Nothing's gonna break it down And build us back again So why did the path have to lead this way? Black is the soul that's led astray You're leading me to places I can never follow [Brige] And when you scream You push me so much further ahead And when I leave I always walk right back again And when you cry The tears are cleansing bitterness I'm out of time I'm slowly dying, give me back my life! Just give me back my life! Just give me back my life! Just give me back my life! [Chorus] Why are we going on this way? Why do we play these games? Nothing's gonna break it down And build us back again So why did the path have to lead this way? Black is the soul that's led astray You're leading me to places I can never follow [Outro] As it all falls down Do I walk away? Or do I stand my ground There's nothing left to say

I want KoRn to put out an album that just consists of beautifully crafted music that isn't trying so hard to be heavy for once. They slowly morphed into that metal band that they never wanted to be associated with from the beginning.

    • Well David Draiman's forsaken was for the Queen of the damned movie soundtrack. (Along with Chester from Linkin Park, Wayne Static, Jay from Orgy and Marilyn Manson) Those songs were written by Jon for the movie. (and it's his voice singing in the movie) But the record company Jon (and Korn) was signed to at the time wouldn't allow him to be on the soundtrack so they hired David, Manson, Chester, Jay, and Wayne to sing on the soundtrack instead. And Jon or anyone from Korn has never collaborated with Eminem. I think he was on the music video for "got the life" but that's it.

I say the latter two because TALITM was the album which featured JD's screams the most prominently of any Korn album, while the Untitled album was by far their most gothic and atmospheric before this one came out.

    • It's still missing the funk from David but this is very close to the old Korn that caught all our attention! I'm not hating on ray at all, he's doing an amazing job but if they had David back, Korn would definitely be back and sound even better! Love the new album though! This and paradigm shift are the best albums since take a look in the mirror. Don't get me wrong their other albums in-between were great and have a spot for me, but not quite what any of us were hoping for and wanting, I'm sure. They are very unique and different albums but they aren't what Korn really is and aren't exactly what we wanted. Still great though

  • Out of the entire 9 years I have listened to Korn this is my all time favorite song that they have released. This song has hit home for me so hard that I tend to cry every time I listen to this song. I hate it but it feels good. Thank you Korn.

  • Love me some Korn. I can listen to their entire discography from front to back. With that said, I think this is absolutely my favorite track from them. There is just something about it that speaks to my existence.

  • Not too many bands can make new music that doesnt just sound the same old stuff while maintaining their own unique style that defines them in this perfect way Korn does.

  • As it all falls down, Do I walk away? Or do I stand my ground And accept my fate? And there’s the faceless cries That twist my every dream And almost every night I hear the demons sing Why are we going on this way? Why do we play these games in vain? Nothing’s gonna break it down and build us back again So why did the path have to lead this way? Black is the soul that’s led astray Leading me to places I can never follow Happiness is found in the darkest ways And as I search around I make nothing but mistakes And there’s the faceless cries That twist my every dream And almost every night I hear the demons sing Why are we going on this way? Why do we play these games in vain? Nothing’s gonna break it down and build us back again So why did the path have to lead this way? Black is the soul that’s led astray Leading me to places I can never follow And when you scream, you push me so much further ahead And when I leave, I always walk right back again And when you cry, the tears are cleansing bitterness I’m out of time, I’m slowly dying Give me back my life! Just give me back my life! Just give me back my life! Just give me back my life! Why are we going on this way? Why do we play these games? Nothing’s gonna break it down and build us back again So why did the path have to lead this way? Black is the soul that’s led astray Leading me to places I can never follow As it all falls down, Do I walk away? Or do I stand my ground There’s nothing left to say
