Ever inspiring as it's been a few months since I've had the chance to make a few timbers and my failed attempts using aspen, closely splitting in half a full 4 ft during the drying process but always a lesson to be learned with different material. Thank you for sharing your efforts and is greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your comment. I know what you mean when you mention splitting during the drying process. I think this timber had seasoned sufficiently, but we will see.
