There is always a bit of fractiousness when a great player passes a certain point where he's no longer what he was. I think Salah has passed that point where he just can't do what he used to do. The player is always the last one to acknowledge he's slipped and it's obviously a tough thing to deal with.
FACT - Salah hasn’t been playing well since the start of January. When was the last time he got the ball, turned and ran at the defence? Most often he receives the ball wide and immediately passes it straight back.

I think it has definitely affected the team. Whether it's fatigue or Klopp's announcement, we have looked really flat in a lot of games this side of Christmas, playing with a slow tempo and little urgency.
That made no difference. These players don't have the attitude or the fight in them regardless. If anything, that news should have given them a boost and a reason to fight. Blaming it on that is just lazy and totally incorrect.
