Insanely expensive that’s out of reach for the average middle class

In every respect the TAXA Outdoors Trailers are in a class of their own! Their design is new, modern and very stylish, and their construction benefits from light, strong panels. Innovative is too small a word, so its hardly surprising that the designer came to this with a new perspective! The inclusive of the window is nice, and clever to offer one to fit a window air conditioning unit.
Turtleback and Overkill are the top tier imo
I love that mantis. No nonsense, you yourself can locate all pipes n wires, most importantly it can plug into a standard extension cord along with 30 amp optional. Very compact and thee bells n whistles are practical . No flashy danglers n switches. Lol. I feel that mantis would outlast most of those flashy rigs. When I'm hands on camping,that's what I want , long story short and what I'm saying is that if it breaks,you purposely broke it , is how I feel the mantis represents . I'm located in indiana and will be looking into this mantis deal. This was an awsome video. Its absolutely what I wanted. Every option available on the market. Great job .

My mini van worked for us but I drooled over these. To have a bug out ready trailer for fun and for emergency prep is my dream. I love the bean but there are so many great choices here.
It is definitely nice to just be able to hook up and go at a moments notice.
Minivans are great. You can haul a fair amount of gear and still have a spot to stretch out. A lot of them also have built-in flatscreens for watching movies, so they have built-in glamp factor. I don't think I'd do much towing with one, though. Even for a teardrop, I think I'd want a tow vehicle that was built more for towing. I get the attraction is that you can tow them with anything, but you really ought to get a pickup with the towing package, so you've got the power, suspension, 7-pin connector, etc.
Wow, 10 years ago we had 2-3 choices, now look at the market!!!
Im amazed at what these trailers can cost.
They only cost that much if you pay that much, build one, get help if needed, it's much cheaper.
@@buckrepublican8782 Base models for $3,000. Maybe half that, used, for a patient shopper. If it's up your alley as a hobby builder, I can see it being very satisfying. I'm more the kind of guy who saves up to pay a guy! LOL! There are plenty of reputable builders doing relatively inexpensive custom builds. But some of the prices are pretty ridiculous.
Hey, here are some friendly tips: 1. If you’ll look up “Murphy Doors” 2. Better yet you can even crate a wall type niche within the door frame and put attached cabinetry on a slide out. 3. If you start to think of full length pull-down/up window shades, you could have a pull down element in front of the cabinetry when not in use. 4. if you could start thinking of doors they way you open up box type packages and start using a four folding door system. 5. If you look up Lehel by Alexander’s and look at the back of the horse box and see a detachable podium. This could create much more storage space. 6. If you look up Volkner Mobil you can see a sky deck created using solar panels in between glass and then railings.
Lots of great builders out there! Lots of research to do!

I’m halfway through this video, I’ve looked into every company so far. No a single value option. The pricing on these stripped down trailers is insane. I could but a new 5th wheel for some of the prices on these. Unreal! This is not camping for your middle class.
My company is going to try and change that. I'm with you on trying to understand why these prices are SO SO HIGH
These are not intended to be marketed to the big 5thwheel crowd. Try to take your big 5thwheel ANYWHERE off road without tearing the shit out of everything. Your complaint is comparing apples to goat shit.
@@veralhines6237 and you miss the point. You cannot tell me for one second that this tiny ass little bare bones units are worth up to 70k in some cases. Some of the most basic ones are the most expensive! I checked every single unit shown. It’s absurd. The guy looking to truck camp or overland for fun, can’t actually afford this stuff. The only people who can are the rich pricks who do it because they think it’s the new fad. They’ll end up buying it and towing it with their pavement princess jeep and towing it to the nearest jelly stone.

Nice video. Great to see all the options. Just wish the manufacturers said what the weight and base price are. Kinda of disappointed most didnt mentioned those.
Sometimes the price is ever changing due to the market. But I will keep that in mind when filming the next ones.

7x was definitely one of my favorites, it looks different from all other trailers.
I don't know what any of these companies are smoking, but I want some.
Should also have also included a outer security antenna mask and vibration probes to detect ground movement approaching trailer.

The only realistic option is the hiker series, under 10k and what you get for it not to mention the custom potential down the road. It's honestly better than the 30-40k trailers by FAR

Terrific video! It's great to see all these trailers and all the different ideas in one place. It took a couple days for me to watch the entire thing but I liked it a lot. It left me wanting more!
Well I did post a 9 hour video that includes those trailers along with truck campers and other gear. This next year I’ll be focusing more on trip videos/story telling, but I’ll still release these larger expo videos around expo time.

Honestly, if you can rent something you are interested in or something close to what you are interested in and go on a weekend trip, it will give you a good idea of that trailer is right for you.

forgive me for my venting of anger or discust of sickness it brings thinking to i do like the tech and some great and inspiration al i still looki in and i to get inspired and have ideas to and they work but one idea can be used for many differnt levels of need yet the lords way is recyclable if not do not invent if helps not economy or caused hard ships that can cause uability of americans an cause harm is unconstituation i think
only thing i do not like about them is not a kitchen inside and not nothing but bed and no bath or somehow to be somewhat off gride type some do exsist yet a ten thousan dollor A frame or such so that it is more expensive than newer trailer or some used much cheaperyet more room and bigger it is that parks expensive and all kinds of set backs of economy injoyment of trail is stressed sometimes it is that i want to yet the system we work under has only bucks in mind and forget the reason any build is ecomomy and then they turn around sell a tiny home or cabin for five times what they paid to build and then they no better than the ones they complain about i will keep faith somehow things will change or that miricle will happen ll/
