imagine being the only thanos losing out of 14 million.
Alternatively yes
*the TVA wants to know your location*
It was confirmed there was many other ways to win
@@motorenginev1nce446 not true
Technically, Strange said that there’s only one where the heroes win. This doesn’t mean Thanos wins even if the heroes lose
Let’s be honest. Thanos was sport enough to accept that he lost. No last scream of “NO!” with defiance or anything. He just accepted he was about to die, sat down, and waited for it.
"I know what it's like to lose, turns the legs to jelly" had to sit his ass down lol
Wow, never heard that comment before. 🙄
Gus should take notes
In the background, Proxima cradles her beloved Courvis. She leans over to give him one last kiss before they both fade
@@brianh4557 Whats lose?
I like how it started with Tony and ended with Tony
Tony was the key!
☝️🤓umm actually because of how Tobey Maguire officially appeared in the MCU that means that he was truly the start of the MCU and it was Marvels first movie.
The way Thanos accepts defeat as he sees his troops falling one by one, knowing he was unable to complete his mission and accepts it like a true man. Abssolutely brilliant and chilling.
I don't think he was losing, in any fight he never needs help, if he would have, it be the first time he asked, he'd look weak to his army, he couldn't fight his feet were off the ground, rain fire, not only stopped her but he didnt ask for anyone to personally attack her, my opinion though.

No, he was just so convinced of his inevitability that now that he lost the shock overwhelmed him. You can tell from looking at him that he's thinking 'how can this be? I'm destined to win. My future self did so I must win as well.' Until he finally sits down thinking about how wrong things were until he goes the way of dust.
He got to rest and watch the sun rise over a grateful universe
The last thing Thanos heard in his life, was a dad joke.
Hey inevitable, I’m iron man
Apparently, RDJ wanted to say “oh, snap” or some other silly line that would have absolutely taken the audience out of the moment. I can’t remember if it was Favreau or someone else who suggested “I Am Iron Man”, but it was the best goddamn line for the scene
I knew when I saw this movie, Marvel would never be able to top this moment. Too many factors had to come together to make it great. Following so many movies for such a long period of time, is really a once in a generation feat.
0:08 Strange's silent signal to Stark... Stark finally realizes why Strange sacrificed the stone 5 years ago and what had to be done
today.
greatest line of all time
No, it's "Taco?"
what do you mean sentence
The look on Tony’s face when strange signaled 1 to him. Tony knew what it meant. What he had to do
So weird. I just said this exact same thing out loud while watching this scene and then saw your comment lol
Martyrdom
Same here - just watched this as I got home from gym and realized for the first time I’m wondering if that was Dr Stranges cold to let Tony know it was up to him to sacrifice himself
If you say this scene doesn't still give you chills then you're lying
No, it doesn’t give me chills, it gives me tears
It makes me sad bc iron man is my favorite superhero:(
Everytime he snaps a tears come down and i also do get chill
Actually it DIDN'T for me. Probably because of the 'joke feel' after the failed "Snap" from Thanos. Liked the scene, but no chills.
It doesn’t cuz i don’t form parasocial relationships with fictional characters ( Your mother hates you
Thanos: I am inevitable. Iron Man: *Holds up Uno Reverse card*
I can’t get over Thanos’ glove clipping at 0:35 🤣🤣
Not seeing it tbh
Think it slides over.
Nah it definitely clips through. The Corridor Crew channel covered the scene with the VFX supervisor behind endgame. He was the one who pointed it out lol
Who else is here after hearing about the perfect time to line up ironmans snap to the end of 2020
I'm planning on doing it on Jan 20 Eve as well, so Tony will snap just as another would-be tyrant ends his reign.
@@plucas1 me too
@William Plaza yup
Did u hear about The Batman I Am Vengeance one?
Me
Not gonna lie, when I first saw this and Thanos was about to snap his finger again, I really thought he was going to win again.
Yo same dude! I saw this in college with my friends and was like bruh there's no way he wins again 😢😲Tony's nano suit was pure genius and the best plot twist ever. I was like no wayyyy. Hold that L nice n tight Thanos lol
We all thought that. That's because of the flawless writing. If only Marvel could make movies like this again...
0:01 When you see in the future that your friend will die, there is nothing you can do because this is his destiny.
Fun fact: the "and I am Iron Man" segment was added to the film just a few months before it released. Tony originally said nothing. To include the follow up line made the scene a million times more powerful. Endgame is the best movie of the Infinity Saga. And just such a superb film period.
I think Infinity War beats Endgame as far as cinematic quality goes.
Naw cuz Endgame had a lot of problems
@@maxcarter5965 yes you said exactly what I was going to say. Infinity War is a far superior film technically. Maybe not as enjoyable after you see it the first time since the good guys lose but still it's technically speaking a better constructed movie.
Infinity war was better
Film? Pfft.
An epic build-up throughout the MCU to one of the best scenes in cinematic history.
i feel like yesterday but it was 2 years ago :(
I didn't realize how the stones were eating away at Iron Man's nano armor just before he snapped. Tony would've been fried had he not had the armor.
Tony *was* fried. Not everything was armored and what was exposed was hurt so profoundly he couldn't survive.
a good story to tell my grandkids
Yeah
True story
Bluds gonna tell his grandkids about a movie 💀💀💀
Do you remember how it felt to see that for the first time ever in theaters? I know that 98% of people on earth saw that in the movie theater. I know I remember everyone packed around me in the theater screaming cheers and applause at that, but everyone went silent and cried hard when the next scene happened.
I was still recovering from thor's hammer slowly lifting....
You must be talking about children.
98% of children in US😂
Meh
Either you die a hero. Iron Man Or you live long enough to see yourself become the villain. Superior ironman
Based Shutter Island reference
Omg that's actually crazy
Superior iron man finna be crazy fr
One of the most magnificent scenes ever put to film.
When Tony gets the stones you can see the power burning what looks like lightning arcs into his suit up his neck. Can you imagine the pain he must have felt through those words? Wow
Tony Stark: ‘And I...Am....Iron Man.”
A lots of time has passed but some scenes of avengers movie doesn't fill bore, it seems like fresh, I like to always watch the avenger movie.
Wow it made me cry. It made me realize how much I miss that time.
Tony went out as he went in... "I am Iron Man." 😭
Not only did Iron Man defeat Thanos once and for all, but he unknowingly saved the futures and lives of new characters like Shang-Chi, Moon Knight, Blade, the Eternals, Ms. Marvel, IronHeart, Black Knight, She-Hulk, the Werewolf, Man-Thing, IronHeart, Agatha, Namor, and incoming characters like Deadpool and the Fantastic Four.
No, no. Not Harkness, not that bitch, NEVER!!!
If iron man took even 1 more second to snap, we would have lost Rocket 🤣🤣🤣
I like to think that Tony Stark specifically made it so Thanos poofed last, so that he'd have time to watch all his efforts turn to dust and think about the reality of his "inevitability". It seems a very Stark thing to do.🙂 I can kind of hear him say something like "Your _inevitability_ is a sad, ego driven joke. In the end, what _you want_ is just dust for us to sweep away."
Pretty good likeness of Tony's speaking.
In an interview they revealed that the time it took to become dusted directly correlated to the strength of the being. That's why Spiderman was the last person to dust, because his power levels are completely off the charts. So much so that the comics reveal he has to hold back so as not to just immediately kill people in a single punch. Similarly Thanos was the strongest person on the battlefield that got dusted, to the point where not even the full force on the nanosuit could do much more than cut him. His army was the chitari who Rocket reveals isn't a particularly strong army
@@SinisterPixel Hey, that's really cool information. Thank you for sharing. 🙂
@@SinisterPixel spider man also took the longest to dust
Epic ending to most of the world’s favourite super hero !!!!
More stupid yet
That goes to Batman,spider-man, and Superman
Gotta admit, MCU did an amazing job elevating Iron Man to the level of Batman/Superman/Spider-Man in the cultural consciousness
MCU really elevated his status to the levels of Batman,Superman Spiderman and all
0:46 Love the look on Tony’s face as he stares at Thanos’s shocked and fearful face. He’s like “Did you REALLY think I wouldn’t have a backup plan? I’m IRON MAN, bitch!” 😂
Ironman always learns from his mistakes (engineering). Especially when it comes to his suits.
Today is the 17th of October 2023 . Tony's death day .
thanos just stands there, doing nothing, allowing iron man to do his thing for like 10 seconds. lmao
well what is he gonna do? he has all the stones 💀 if Tony wanted to he could Time stone him or whatever else. I mean yeah hes weak and all but still
@@Elvis-qc2ou take it off like they did to him
Bruh got my hopes up for no reason
2020 got snapped!
To this day, I still like to think that The Snap could have just made everything disappear, and not necessarily turn to dust. I like to believe that Tony was 'petty' enough to replicate the dust thing, force Thanos to watch the same thing happen to his army, before he finally turns to dust as well.
I think it was for cinematic purposes
Thanos deserved it a lot for his actions and for almost killing everyone involved like almost killing Captain America, Thor, and Captain Marvel.
January 1st 2021: 1:12
iron man is the real hero he sacrifice her self many times your the true legends he didn't not cared if he died the most important he saved all with pure heart at the end
Not a big marvel guy but that call back to iron man 1 is just the best 🔥
According to TV Tropes this would be an example of "Did You Just Punch Out Cthulhu?"
The Wilhelm scream hidden inside, always gives me the chuckles.
wait wut where??

I will never forget seeing this in the cinema. Probably the best movie moment of my life. So many years of emotional investment culminating in this beautiful and epic moment.
Ya boy just snapped us into 2021. RIP
This scene was perfect 😭
Consider that because of this the Avengers saved another universe from Thanos and his snap. EVERYTHING after the start of Guardians Of The Galaxy involving Thanos and his minions never happens. Gamora lives, Vision lives, the refugees from Asgard aren't slain (not sure but maybe the Dwarves aren't slaughtered either), Xandar survives (although Ronin is probably still running around), Strange never loses his spot as Sorcerer Supreme, Stark never dies, Spider-man never gets his legacy or gets his life ruined so no encountering his counterparts, etc.
Also black widow lived too.I really wish that MCU someday explores that universe more
I am convinced that Thanos dusted last because Tony wanted him to see the totality of his defeat - even if just subconsciously.
I love how tony had the foresight to build in a way to remove the stones from the first glove as well as build a secondary one.
I am Iron man We love you 3000
dang it Tony you should not had done this you still be alive right now
One of, if not the most iconic hero's death in cinema.

If you play this from the start at 11:58:52 PM, the snapping part at 1:09 switches the time. This is the best and most gigachad way to end and start a year.
He is So Worthy of mjölnir after the snap 😢❤

Best scene ever.
Its almost as if Strange was saying "you have one shot"
That last snap was so powerful it killed the MCU… 😢 it must be undone!!!

Eh it’s the same don’t u think
Love you 3000❤️❤️❤️

Tony came into the MCU sitting down Tony went out sitting down
WATCHING AT 0:00 SANP AT THE NEW YEAR !!!!
Miss you Tony
Using the infinity stones is like activating God Mode cheats, the enemy's numbers or firepower don't mean anything.
Great finale to this franchise.
Thanks
Got this timed on 2021 to 2022 perfectly so happy new year fellas 😁
in 2023, 2022 was so fast
Tony once said to loki that- if we can't protect the Earth, you can be damned well sure we'll avenge it. Sure did they avenge the earth. Tony was ready to sacrifice in Avengers 1 and sure did he sacrificed himself in the end.
I kind of feel bad for Thanos, part of me is happy that the Avengers won, but the other half is sad because the way he continues to look around seeing his men and all his accomplishments and hard work disappear into dust, knowing that he is next.
I saw a comment a long time ago saying they would’ve preferred this to be Loki’s death. The comment said “Am I the only one who thinks that Loki should have saved everyone instead of Iron Man? I think this would have made things more perfect and he should have hung around Thor and help him out during the final battle in Endgame and if he had to die, he should have died after living with Thor and getting along with him, not get killed when things were starting to go well with them. It would have been better and ironic if Loki saved everyone since he was the first major Avengers villain and he ends up saving everyone sacrificing himself. He gets the stones after tricking Thanos and you see Thanos with all 6 stones and Thanos snaps his fingers but it is revealed they were illusions made by Loki and Loki, who is wounded, snaps his fingers. This also shows his true character as Loki was not the most trust worthy and he could have done anything with the stones but instead sacrifices himself to save the universe and defeat Thanos’ army. He could say “And I am Loki Odinson” And before he dies due to the immense energy and being wounded, he tells his brother “I told you, the sun would shine on us again, brother”. He then dies and his skin turns blue, reminding people he is a frost giant and also indicating that it is the true death of Loki since his skin was originally blue. Loki would be fully redeemed from this act and I think it would have been better”
You like fantasy. Well, if you have a billion dollars, you can remake the movie
@@Real_JMIH 🤣🤣
Whoa verrry Kool indeed that would have indeed been a great alternate version of the ending again quite cool !😊
Bro thinks loki is the main character💀💀💀
But Loki has now done something equally epic, like deciding to keep all timelines together for eternity
The end of the MCU. The series was great up to here. After this movie, nothing was worth watching.
Imagine there were actually multiple outcomes/possibilities of them winning and this was just a setup to kill Tony because Strange didn’t like him
😆
now, he is gone again.
Who is here to see this in unforgettable scene in february 2022
Good job the snap knows how to respect dramatic timing
