Unfair Difficulty, Check this description for the Build - I am just showing gameplay footage. Enjoy and try out! In Act 2 I'd recommend Militant or Assassin.
I opted to go for big two-handed weapon and Reckless strike for AOE kills.
Later on in the game, you will become a good psyker but we will initially focus on martial damage and dodge (avoidance).
*NOTE: This build is optimized in ACT 1 of the game - while using the highest damage melee weapon in Act 1 (two-handed axe from Followers of the Void Merchant). Later on, given new weapons and class possibilities will probably use a respec on the void ship to optimize a few selections.

  • Does it work with any conviction ? What's the main difference between Assassin and Arch Militant ?

    • Yes it does. assassin just uses blades...can get to higher single target dps somewhat faster, while militant is more versatile and has better (over the top) defenses with cautious approach. There is a bit more nuance involved in playing assassin than militant but I outline the abilities well and the items in the completed warrior/assassin build guide.

    • @@ChanceOrangeGE Advise me on something please: I'm only level 20 something on hard. I don't have a lot of time to play. I want to read everything cause I heard the story is good. ATM I have an commisar officer. The advantage is that I can learn all the companions since he is a support but I don't like it cause ussually I was the main dd. In the end I want to play all 3 convictions. I heard heretic is bugged so I am kepping it for last and thinking of using this build kzhead.info/sun/eZaDncNlaWuidok/bejne.html That's 1. 2nd: My favorite is Fortress World Soldier Arch-Militant Pyromancer/Telepath. All the Soldier and Arch Militant abilities work with Psyker Powers, so I'm casting 4+ times a turn and the Pyromancer Telepath combo means I usually clear encounters within one turn on Unfair. Pain Channeling plus Backdraft and Aftershock, with Psychic Barrage converting my BS into raw damage, lets me hit a group of weak enemies with a Lightning Arc and the excess damage of each of their deaths kills a ton of other enemies. In several encounters I've ended the battle with LITERALLY a single attack. On unfair. This seems good too but he is range and glass cannon, maybe restart and play with him on iconoclast. and ofc your build on dogmatic. I want to restart my current run and play unfair from the start. In case you read it till now, what would you advise me to do ? Thank you in advance

    • @@ChanceOrangeGE Or the last option: continue my game with the officer on hard, enjoy it and then choose two builds for dogmatic and heretic. I would like to restart dogmatic since I read that it's the least buggy

    • @@MosCraciun777 sure thing: sactioned psyker officer/ master tactician is a thing on Dogmatic (rank4/5) dogmatic gives you helm to scale damage as sanctioned sanctic psyker. Pyromancer like my build is fine on dogmatic too because you get boost to fire damage...then again a physical unit like assassin works great as heretic too because at heretic 4 you get +20 to all stats per encounter. as for iconoclast I think best would be party support because iconoclast high tier ability lends itself to it. In general neoseeker builds are great...make game easier. arche militant pretty broken right now. When I post a build I try to find something strong but a bit different. Right now I am playing on an alt playthrough crime lord gunslinger (soldier - tactician) / high int voidborn -> be smart. It's not quite the powerhouse of assassin or militant but interesting for big alpha hits nonetheless. cheers. The thing with psykers I find I that they start out weak before mid 30s on unfair...you are leaning on a strong starting class like warrior (deeps) or officer (support) or I guess soldier (deeps) before you get psy things going.
