Imagine turning that keyboard tray into a higher profile case for the entire kb. Some DIY modding inspiration for those that don't like low profile cases.
It looks like shit with the “high profile case” as its just some translucent plastic not really high profile
@@elliottd323 it looks shit in general .. just buy a leopold (best prebuilts made)
Is possible to pull out the switches?

4:49 that countdown bar is really useful
Just ,why?
@@dentry1685 Just , why?
@Tuperwear I’m guessing that it is there for if you turn up the volume to hear the keys, so the countdown lets you know when you should turn the volume down to avoid his voice being loud
@@ologist8 yea its heckin nice lil detail
I wish it was a more elegant bar tho
I always love seeing your tech reviews dude. It’s really cool seeing how some tech differs from others
Hey!!! Didn't expect you to be here haha
@@elegantpower Oh hey MrPowerStudies! Didn’t expect to see you here haha. How’s it going?
@@TheFlamingGamerYT Not too bad, I got caught up on 2 months of homework for 5 classes so I'm a lot better haha. How you doing
@@elegantpower I’m doing pretty good. I’m currently eating some cotton ice cream at the moment, and it’s very nice
I picked this up on pre-order back in January. I love it! such a great piece of kit. it was the wireless that sold it for me. 10/10 will recommend
how much did u buy it for??
Can you use standard keycaps?
can you add custom keycaps
I'm picking this up. Thanks for this Frank. I appreciate it.
This keyboard almost had everything I'd want to go from TKL to 65%. If it came in a white variant, tone down the gamer-y lettering aesthetic and allowed for standard row key cap replacement, it would've been a day one immediate purchase. All the other cons like pinging could be tolerable or just ignored (lol). Better yet, if V2 came with hot-swappable switches... Thanks for covering this!
Been looking around for a keyboard for my new pc. Definitely going to get this one thanks for reviewing this!
Just got the Falchion this week, and it works great as a compact, wireless supplemental keyboard to my Claymore.
This actually looks pretty dope! Nice to see some innovation in the 65% (my favourite) size! Amazing vid quality as per!
dope until you use the software lol

Hey Frank! There is this really cool brand called Alpherior Keys. They make really sick 60% keyboards. Not many people have reviewed them and I think it would be a great keyboard for you to review next.
I haven't been this excited about a keyboard for a long time. Love the battery bar on the left. Was waiting
its a good day when theres a new keyboard video and upload! love this channel!
Never clicked on a notification quicker, thank you for uploading
The volume control on the side and the cover are very nice innovations. Make it hotswappable and we have something here, but if I ever feel the need to change my Anne pro 2 it would be for something over the top like the new GMMK Pro.
Is the GMMK Pro wireless 2.4? I also much prefer a touch bar for volume than a knob. Volume wheel on popular brands are also better than that knob.
I was waiting for this one!!! This thing is a beast
It's a great day when randomfrankp uploads

here's a feature I'd like to see... Lighting stays on at night time, othertimes it refers back to the default timeout settings, Nothing worse than playing guess the key when it's dark
damn... the cover is actually a really good idea. You can convert it to high-profile whenever you want?
#YangGang !
Been waiting for this video.. Thanks alot
Thanks RFP. Mine just arrived today and I love it.
I love the keyboard. Been using it since January and it’s actually great for work too! FYI, The keys are double shot PBTs.
how much did u buy it for ??
@@FALCON-ss3it I paid USD 230 equivalent via eBay back in Jan. I live in the UK but had to purchase one from Singapore because I wanted the U.S. version keyboard, which you can't buy in the U.K. Because of that, I had to pay an additional 20% value-added tax on top of my purchase price. However, it's still worth the price as I use it everyday with my work, UK-layout issued laptop. I use my personal PC (ASUS ROG Zephyrus Duo 15) to configure some keyboard changes to suit my needs for Excel (i.e. setting the right-side Alt to be Home, Ctrl to be End). After a bit, muscle memory kicks in and it's as efficient as a full-key keyboard!
can you use other keycap sets for the kb?
@@shisuims6651 yes except for the bottom row cause its not standard size bottom row, for example the space bar is a little shorter etc.
Do you need the wrist rest for this kb?
It looks like a decent board for the price tag, considering the extra features it has, but that spring ping and the plate mounted stabs make this a tough sell for anyone who actually cares about typing sound and feel.
This is Amazing I was just looking for a wireless keyboard and actually planning to switch into all Asus Peripherals Thanks RFP
Love seeing FrankP Holding Viper Ultimate in hand. Cause I love that mouse too✌️
Nah still can’t beat my membrane keyboard which serves as a home to cockroaches lizards and ants from 2010
I got a mech one cause ofc i had to since i'm such a gamer (duh i mainly play stardew valley) and let me tell you, yeah it sounds nice but it makes 0 difference in usability. I do enjoy it a lot more and i feel fancy typing on it, but i could easily go back to a £20 membrane one.
@@sentient.ball.of.stardust ikr, sometimes. I bought an armageddon mech keyboard and it broke down when i accidentally spilled water on it. Now i use the stock acer keyboard that came with the pc. The stock membrane keyboard actually made me type faster lmao
I suggest you guys buy those enthusiasts type of keyboard like the GK64/61, Womier K66/87, or the SK64/61 instead of those premium gaming ones. The screws can easily be removed, hot swap, and overall easier to maintain in case you spill something or you want to customize it to the max.
@@Ahfeku Clearly you havent had a nice mech keyboard, armageddon is definitely not the company to go for.
@@Ahfeku armageddon keyboards are pretty crap imo
thanks frank! found my new 65% keyboard but they're sold out everywhere. PAIN
Thanks Frank for this good video. I liked this keyboard. I do use Corsair K100 nowadays. Previously I was also using HP omen sequencer. Although HP omen sequencer is not too much old keyboard invented. But I wanted to tell you that its really one of the most heavy duty toughest keyboard in typing with the Corsair K100. As you know extensive in doing plenty of business analysis and working a lot in various complex sophistication managerial tasks of writing a lot and doing a lot of various analytical analysis with numbers too. What I want to say that Corsair K100 is really heavy-duty while also the HP omen sequencer do too very durable. I want to suggest to you is to make another video and combine the use of those 2 keyboards together and test the sounds of the key caps of the 2 keyboards, they sound just great in whatever used on. I want also to mention another power when using the HP omen sequencer. It goes up with the speed. The meaning that when you start to be warmer in what you are doing writing a lot and entering data and doing more analytics. You write more faster than you could imagine even without your realise. Even with the corsair K100. This is why I wanted to ask from you to do such experiment to help others specially business analysts and business consultants to pick up those supportive keyboards for their hectic jobs, they need those 2 keyboards extensively. Thank you in advance for your great good effort thank you. I did bought corsair K100 after I watched your review video on it. You were convincing to me.
Love your tech reviews man! Would also love to see you take a look at Razer's Huntsman V2 Analog!
i really want this to be a thing just so the industry goes with it and uses something like lightspeed from Logitech and other color variations and more minimalistic design also nobs would be better than touch
Watching that piece of dust hit the windows key at 6:55 was insanely satisfying for some reason.
YESSSSSS
lol
insane vid frank! thx for everything.
The best thing this keyboard does is not leaving gap besides the spacebar to the right and that is awesome. Makes the keeb look miles ahead of other 65%
Love my falchion, if you’re looking for a smaller wireless keyboard this is an excellent choice. I play on my 65” 4K tv from about 10 feet away from my pc and no issues. Battery life is what they say it is, the USB dongle fits magnetically beside the power and charge port for easy storage. Macros are awesome! Give it a try
i know this is late and prolly wont respond haha but i just bought one and trying to understad that i have it plugged in through the cable but it constantly says battery is only at 20 percent so i was just wondering how to properly charge this keyboard
@@nonya9816 just plug in the back of the keyboard with the usb c cable, it should charge, if it doesn’t I’d try another cable or use a usb phone charger and see if that charges it. If that doesn’t work then maybe send it back there could be something wrong with it
@@spsp6345 hahah so I bought that and a spatha x well I had 3 cables that looked the same but one was braided so I just tried that and it worked 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
It looks good, it sounds good, it has RGB, it's wireless, has volume controller, it FEELS good. And it's 65 percent which is pretty enough. Price not so bad, this is a perfect keyboard.
Perfect timing, I just checked this keyboard out in-store, I think I'm gonna wait for the RX Switches to be available until I buy it.
I'm really liking this keyboard, love the Red switch option.
2.4ghz usb dongle is always better than the bluetooth and this is what we actually prefer when it comes to wireless keebs. It's consistent with responsiveness and rarely (to not) does it even lag. This is also what I always looked for whenever I'm checking for some wireless peripheral, with a dongle, the better.
Stay safe guys! and i love your setup!!
love the sound test!
You make it soo tough to pick a keyboard. I just watched 3 vids and I want them all and I just know there's more out there to explore before choosing lol

Will the new Aura Keycaps V2 from glorious work on this keyboard maybe?
Almost nothing will fit these.
Da li možeš da snimiš video o toj tastaturi🙏🏻
Probably a 95% chance they'll fit, they look like oem though it's not stated on glorious's website. Keycaps like those will probably fit any keyboard that has a cherry stem (cross-shaped keyswitch stem). I'm certain that they'll fit anyways.
Just don't get cherry profile keycaps, since the leds are north facing you'll get interference in the middle row, resulting in mushy feelings and muted sounds in the middle.
@@timnguyen4211 the keyboard has an unusual layout, has nothing to do with the cherry stems. The spacebar is smaller, backspace, enter key, etc.
You always have great reviews frankp. Just wondering what's your recommendation for a graphic designer but want a mechanical RGB full size keyboard. Really appreciate it. Thanks man
Thank you for your service
I actually would want to mod this keyboard into an enthusiast grade keyboard, put some better switches in there and those features are definitely really cool
There’s a lot of innovative features on the board. I think it checks alot of boxes. For what it’s worth, it’s probably pronounced like the weapon: Fall-shun, sometimes Fall-chun. But honestly who cares :p
i rly like it cause my keyboard that i have rn is wired and massive (it’s the razor huntsman elite btw) so it’s the perfect size, it has the battery line thingy feature, it’s wireless which i love and it’s also got the keyboard cover thing. i think i might buy it if you have it can you tell me if it’s worth the money
@@scrubsisbetterthanlunanoka3757 yeah the only thing holding me back is the ugly af font on the keyboard and the keycaps aint standard so we cant switch em
Love the look of this keyboard.. I just wish companies would do more with their firmware. At the very least, they could try to make their keyboards compatible with programs like VIA or QMK. I'm a bit of a special snowflake here, as I use alt layouts (Dvorak and Colemak-DHm, as well as qwerty) and having that firmware is a major quality of life plus for me since I can hardcode in alternative layouts. But, it's also insanely powerful for programming in RGB, media keys, and macros. Any chance you could find and review some pre-built, budget QMK compatible keyboards? Would love to get one for my sister.
Hey great video! Can you make a comparison between the asus ROG Falchion and the ANNE PRO 2 please.
Id love to see you take these keyboards and upgrade them with lube and foam them properly for cheap! Series idea?
Nah if you want to do that dont buy a keyboard with no hotswap for 150 just get a gk61 or sk61 if youre looking to customize
you should make an asmr channel just for reviewing keyboards and mice and then just clicking them while talking😂 I would watch it honestly
I already do...check my channel it's listed on the side.
@@randomfrankp omg yes! awesome
If this came in their optical reds they do, I'd of been sold! I watched this all the way till release I love the thing.

Ok, this keyboard is the structure that I love. Flat bed, no borders, compact. Now please make it 75%. I still need the F keys.

Wow in terms of features,, this really kills my Mni Hyperspeed. Pretty cool keyboard. Really dig thatr small edge around the board. It doesnt look as bulky as the Razer one. Very nice design!
I would buy for sure if they do a silent red switch 👌
Me: looks interesting ROG: And all this for the modest price of a kidney, one eye, and your libber . Me: pass...
It's actually priced pretty well imo, anything custom will cost you an arm and a leg, and no wireless.
that's some cheap ass kidney, eye and libber! all 3 for just 150$? Where can I find them? lol
I was just looking through and then I'm just like "oh shit new vid was posted thirteen minutes ago"
nice board, backspace enter and right shift oh it's going to be hard to find some compatible keycap set for that keyboard, (the keycaps are terrible, font and quality) but it feels unique and good feautres! Would be nice if you can specify if there are any compatible set since you have so many eheheh
I just noticed the switches are south facing, so they don't have interference with cherry profile keycaps. Interesting addition.

As nice as this looks, I really can't live and be productive without a numpad. 😁
You can buy / make your own macro pad! So if/when you don’t need numpad or macros you can use your 65%. Then when you need to be productive you can get your macro pad out. It’s a bit of a silly workaround but works for some people!
Any keyboard wrist rest to use with this keyboard that you recommend? Just got my Falchion yesterday, loving it btw!!!
I have this KB and it's also my first KB that isn't full size and my first wireless KB also. No regrets! I use for work and gaming at home so it's nice for it to get some attention from a famous reviewer :)

I would love to see a wireless razer huntsman mini with an aluminum backplate. I think that would look awesome since I love the look of that one
The volume bar on the side sold it for me. Just that on touch above volume knobs.
"THIS KEYBOARD IS CRAZY" - Cherry MX - Babe no
he says they are smooth they could be the new hyperglide switches
Everytime I watch these Vids my wallet goes :-(
Except for the last Corsair one.
Definitely need a video for modding this keyboard !
Alright after about 2 weeks with it I received my pack of translucent O-Rings to put under the keys, as I usually do with my keyboards. This keyboard's low profile keycaps REALLY take to the O-rings and there is a massive, massive difference in how it feels & sounds after you put the O-rings on. It's not anywhere near how good custom keebs can feel, but it's buttery-smooth.
What O rings did you buy?
Also did it become mushy like most people say about o rings?
Also did it help with the pinging?
Fun fact noone has fully watched the vid yet

Welp, it has cherry switches, Instant deal breaker. Everything else about it is cool tho
I think it was to make it affordable price point with a small form factor
You should do a blindfold test between cherry max red switches and all other tactile switches. Don’t snub it till you’ve tried it on this particular keyboard
Reminds me of the Fnatic Streak65 which is my absolute favorite look.
Just ordered mine !!
$149.99? I'll get another 65% thanks.
Everyone gonna be pronouncing this keyboard incorrectly.
yep... pretty sure its supposed to be Fal-Ch-on
Just bought this keyboard absolutely great I accidentally purchased the cherry mx blue by accident over the cherry mx reds, but can definitely say is much better than my Logitech carbon and the wireless advantage is great!
Is there any sound dampening material in the base? If not, I wonder if adding some foam would help. That assumes there is actually room to do so. With the battery in there as well there may not be much room to add anything.
Am I too early? lol
Do not cite the deep magic to me...
The position of secondary functions remind me of my old Vic-20.
Ima cop that board, looks so sick 🔥🔥🔥
Such a sick keyboard! That left side 🔥
I want it but where is the Cherry MX Blue version? It's nowhere to be found.
Can you tell me how you got the app for the keyboard to change the color and all the stuff I can’t find it
That keyboard looks insanely cool, this is what keyboards need in my opinion. I love steelseries and I think they should learn something with this keyboard, wow
7:05 any idea about how much time with RGB on? maybe 100 hours? because that would be more than enough

Yea looking for a good wireless gaming keyboard since I broke my hip. I bought a cheap rk61 for the time being but this seems to look the best of the big names other then maybe the BW v3. Just wish you could swap the switches on this one or the razor.
Hi there. I would like to ask you about how to charge this keyboard. I mean, what kind of adapter that I should use to charge it? Thanks
at 6:55 there is a lil piece of lint that got on the keycap and i watched it like 3 times
have u tried the new claymore keyboard and gladius mouse??? You should try asus more
Looks nice but whats really annoying for me when looking for a 'smaller' keyboard is that I need dedicated F-keys. I also need F13-F24 which is an nightmare to do with F-keys that need the fn-key to work :(
Where can I get keycaps for this? Seems like that backspace and Rshift would be difficult to find
I need my brown switches... Are these swappable?
The stabs are actually pretty good for a prebuilt imo
Is this a good keyboard for me to get? I really like what it seems to be and I currently have a G503 Carbon.
