Dont forget to add the X Pipe big bro those mid mufflers are the x pipes on jeeps ..Put a custom pipe where the pipes meet so you have the scavenging and it wont sound like a mustang
Well, your half right. He needs to put a true X-pipe where he cut off the mid Muffler ( The Mid Muffler is not the X Pipe in Trackhawck's) Then go towards the back and cut off the half ass X-pipe and weld in straight pipe. It actually sounds better and I noticed better response. There was a sound when I did it exactly like this to my Trackhawck that I just didn't care for when it was around 3/4 throttle but after I changed it over to the above system it was great.
@@devinswanson1752 Travkhawks might be different then i just know on Srt 5.7 and v6 where the two pipes meet isn't a X Pipe when i took mine out it was literally two pipes separated so i blew smoke into my old muffler and WALA the smoke was coming out of both ends on the muffler so i bought a full Magnaflow exhuast and gained all my power back my 5.7 felt like a 6.4 after that lol It was crazy

Dude..... chase down the Camaro! So, in all honesty how much louder is it than stock? I listened to this video several times but I'm positive it's not the same in person. I have a 2021 Durango RT, Tow N Go package which is basically the full Durango SRT but with the 5.7. It comes with the SRT performance exhaust, suspension, brakes.... and I'm thinking about doing this also with mid-muffler delete. But it's my daily and I have a family that rides in it often. It's pretty loud now stock and afraid to go too loud! I'm hoping for a more, deeper sound maybe and not louder...??
Significantly louder
If you haven't already, you might wanna check out Magnaflow for a deeper sound. I had a Magnaflow catback on my Jeep SRT. It only got loud during WOT. The rest of the time it was tame with a deep tone, I got a lot of compliments on it. It was considerably better sounding than stock and never was obnoxious or too loud for my fam.
