Good call on the silicone spray! I treat my door seals before every winter and despite my car being 20 years old the seals are all still supple and perfect.
That’s awesome! Thanks for letting us know! 😊
That is what happening in my car and thank you for the info and tutorial.
I swear, the second I heard that whistling sound at the beginning of the video, my mouth dropped open. Sounds exactly like what’s happening in my car. Thank you for the information!
Same for me!!!
Like, including the crickets? 😂
Wondering.. I'm having the whistling sound with my air on but I open the driver door, it stops
@@masoncamp5871maybe there’s an AC vent running from the front of the car near the dash into the gap or even into the door panel
Amazing! Thank you!
If you live in the north these kinds of whistling noises are common after you get some freezing rain, then they disappear after a warmup. If you get a warm day and can get your car to a car wash, wipe down the seals on the doors to get any dust or dirt off them and then you're less likely to have this issue if it gets cold again.
Thank you very much for taking your time and making this video for us I will look into burying the seals.
Thank you!
Terrific video and information. I'll let you know how it goes.
This has been so helpful as I have had the same problem with my RAM truck.
Awesome! Thanks for sharing!
Great info and thanks a ton. I'll do this on my truck and let you know results.
Awesome! Thanks and looking forward to know how it turned out!
Appreciate the knowledge. I have a 2013 GMC TERRAIN that is starting to have the same issue.
Happy I could help! Best of luck!
Hi, if my whistling noise is much higher pitched and only goes off after hitting around 50 mph, is that the same problem? I think it might be the sports car window seal because I don’t have a frame above it.
Thank you for this video! You gave me some things to look at for the coach door of my RV. It whistles terribly if we are driving in high winds. It even looks like the windows in the door has shifted from the vibration and gravity.
You’re welcome! Hope you find and fix that whisking noise! 😊
great tip, thanks
You’re welcome!!
Haven’t seen my tip in these comments much. Just get tubing from the hardware store and slip it into the hollow portion of the seal! This works quite well. Add silicone grease to make it easy to slip in
I have wind noise on my '21 4Runner. So I can try the window deflectors you have I guess...since my seals are fairly brand new.
Your video is awesome! Thanks so much! My body shop person could not tell me what was making the wind noise! My car is 14 years old so I’ll be checking all rubber seals for replacement and buy the silicone spray, too!
Best of luck! Let me know if it worked for you!
Nice
Thanks for the video. Can you or someone confirm the part number? Specifically for a 2012 Tundra crew cab, door seal (Right, Front).
Nice video!
Thank you Nelson! 😊
I have this problem too on q 15 year old car but I don't see qny tears on it or anything so I'm unsure if thats the issue
I don’t have whistling noise but wind noise going at 80mph. Any fox for this? Do they make silicone one?
I don’t have that issues gen 2.5 they revised seals and I added sound proofing
I have whistling but my car is new and i can’t stop it can you help me ?
i hear noise coming from top of door. Does it mean I have leak on top of door or somewhere else is also possible?
Je commente pour vous aider 😉😉
I have the same problem with my Chevrolet express van the same noise
My whistling is coming from the vents. And only way to quiet it is playing with windows and tilt sunroof. So what is it
So what have you done you have not shown. you have just shown the silicone bottle and rubber and that silicone is good for rubber, so !! what have you done for termination of noise ??
How is the sound after fix? Thanks.
R u joking?
It says, "fix you door seals in you car. And maintain t for less than $10" How do you replace seals and maintain them for less than $10 dollars?
My whistling comes from the front of the driver door
Did u find the problem?
I had make it better in a 2000s Toyota Yaris sedan by using just tape. The car is cheaply made, normally there is a rubble in between front and rear door window, but Toyota sale it without it and leave a gap.
3:00 His voice sounds so strangely robotc. It vibrates more than a 1998 text-to-speech engine.
pull the door in tighter
Why does my 2010 honda civic make a rattling sound after 40 miles an hour?
with a helper or two, try to find exactly where the noise is coming from or what part of the car its coming from and go from there. Could be a multitude of things. Best of luck!
Algorithm feeding comment :D
you're Awesome!
NOOOOO do NOT spray silicone on the window sweep! It will leave streaks forever.... just NO. Clean it but don't put silicone or any other lubricant on it.
this man likes to talk and talk.... you can easy skip the film to half of its content and watch without his boring comments...you will figure it out
If you put silicone on a real rubber seal you will ruin it.
Not true. You might be thinking of an oil base product like wd40 which will ruin rubber, silicone will protect it.
Where did you hear that? That's absolutely false
@@docblizard guy is selling this product... that's why no logic answer
Replace it done . You talk alot n waste our time .make video short
I’ll try to do better 😎
Get to the point
Bro literally copied scotty kilmer holy shit word for word 💀💀💀
