Hersh has been synonymous with top investigative reporting for decades; he won a Pulitzer in 1970 for his revelations of the My Lai massacre and cover-up, and in subsequent work, much of it for The New York Times, he’s exposed repressed facets of national security and foreign policy. From the Nixon-Kissinger era through the Gulf War and the Abu Ghraib scandals, he’s consistently dug deep, earning multiple George Polk Awards, the National Magazine Award for Public Interest, the George Orwell Award, and many others. His latest book delves into a series of recent events, questioning the official story behind the Abbottabad SEALS mission and the circumstances of bin Laden’s assassination as well as the U.S. role in Syria’s unrest.

    • Following and bouncing between walls are different things. Twelve minutes in and I am not seeming there is anything to "follow." I don't know how many times he changed direction. I have seen him interviewed elsewhere and the seemed to have a train of thought. I haven't seen similar in this video so far.

    • @@artsmith1347 It’s like he’s out of his comfort zone with the subject. He wears many coats. If he removed one, there would be another underneath, then another and another. He’s the perfect limited hangout. He was handed his ticket to ride decades ago. All these people need to be judged by what they DON’T say, what they DON’T reveal, and the areas they refuse to enter. You can confuse a lot of people by pretending to sound smart. Bill Gates has been getting away with it since before he bought QDOS (Quick & Dirty Operating System) for $125,000, and renamed it DOS. Only the very naive fall for these tricks.

  • I have an opinion about this guy. It's kinda like when I met Keith Richards. I was on my way to a restaurant in New York. I was living there because I had this job offer that fell through. The job was kinda in my field, which is thermodynamics, which I studied in college, which was Amherst, which I went to because my mom had a friend who said I should go there. She only went there because she got pregnant with her boyfreind and needed to get our of her small town, which is how it is in small towns I guess. I lived in a small town, or, rather a small one relative to her small town. I wasn't born there. I was born in England. My dad moved us to the states in '58....
