Welcome to Maya!
Maya is a beautiful (and frustrating) world where you can literally do anything you put your mind to. Today, I'm going to teach you the basics of using motion paths!
If you have any questions or get stuck, let me know in the comments below and I will do my best to help you!

Hi i have a issue with the motion path when i make the use the Flow Path the Lattice twists at some points on the curve and i really need to now why this is happening.
nice work bro :) i have one question how do you block facial expression ? do you block eyes first in order like 1st pupil than eyebrows than eye lids . and lastly you block lypsync with cheeks and nose ? or you block every facial parts together at once ?
Thank you! These are good questions. When blocking the face I treat it like making a clay sculpture - Starting with the big overall shape before diving into the details. I start by determining the face's line of action (I have a video about line of action if you need a refresher!) and rotating the jaw into that line, followed by the nose. Then I determine the characters eyeline, putting the pupils where I want them to look. Next I go all-in on the eyes. Sculpting the lids and then brows, and then tweaking them to work together. Once the eyes are done I do the mouth and cheeks at the same time, then if needed, adjust the lower lids to blend with what the cheeks are doing. When it comes to lipsync, I do it in my polish phase with straight-ahead animating, putting a new shape every 2 frames. During the lip-sync phase, I will adjust the cheeks and nose if I need to, to work with the existing poses. Hope that helps! I made a video on lip-sync I will link you if you want to see it in action :) kzhead.info/sun/o8eJhdRwjX2ggH0/bejne.html

I think camera is better with motion path
It's so weird, after I set my second motion path key, it doesn't 'allow my object to move anymore, it's stuck on the second key and can only go back and forward bewteen the two keys. Anybody had this happen to them?
