Love that Bob always seems as surprised by his stories as everyone else
Tee hee hee!
I feel like as he's telling the story he gets to various details and suddenly realizes how completely insane he sounds
The names he comes out with 😂❤
😅
I thought the first story of Bob's was fake because that one was believable.
15:15 "One of them's called something, and the other one likewise is named, as well." Brilliant!
Off the cuff that's pretty incredible. Writing that line would take some thought. He's the most naturally funny person in the world
@@WebtexwebdesignDigital A natural entertainer. 😂
Bob is the only guest that can make Lee Mack’s stories sound plausible in comparison. 😅
And yet most of them are true, which is the best part. 😁
This show is literally made for Bob. David has such a love/hate relationship with him which makes his performance even more fun
its not love/hate, its all love
@@theothersongsonthealbum2598no it’s not. He loves his comedy but hates the fact that he can’t figure out if it’s truth or lie
@@samprizeman4509 yeah ofc, I don’t really mean hate, just meant that it annoys him that he can’t figure it out which makes him triggered haha
Hate?
The show was not literally made for Bob. It was designed as a panel show for various guests.
I’ve seen Bobs stories so many times and I never fail from sitting grinning with joy throughout xx
Love Bob. Can listen to his stories over and over
@@DaveyandOdetain a Gaming Chair on a Kitchen Island! It's nice to have an Island, Innit?
And youre uh... happy with how you constructed that sentence?
@@themug406 I sure am! 😃
Better than Prozac - should be available on the NHS.
"Rats All, Folks!" and "Murder, She Roach" 😂😂😂 genius.
A twist: All 3 panelists start off with the exact same premise.
Rat's All Folks and Murder, She Roach are fucking genius lol
And not to spoil the magic, but I’m pretty sure I’ve seen both on episodes of Bob’s Burgers - though I can’t say whether this Bob watched that Bob and took it from there!
not a native English speaker here, what's the meaning behind these
@@cheeesysandwich a famous series of cartoons known as Looney Toons/Merry Melodies by Warner Brothers featuring characters like Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, and other characters, used the closing tag line of "That's All Folks!" at the end of their cartoons. "Rat's All Folks!" is parodying that. For the other one, there was a popular TV show called "Murder, She Wrote" starring Angela Lansbury, a well known American actress, in which the main character was a mystery writer who actually solved murders (that seemed to happen unexpectedly often). Again, "Murder, She Roach" is a parody of that.
@@user-dh1yq5cz9v I doubt he watched it but I wouldn't be surprised if he had heard them from someone else before
lee's... "also naked" comment is genius comedic timing. the whole thing had me laughing in tears
I had to stop the video there because I couldn't contain my laughter. Lee is awesome. I have no idea how Mario kept a straight face after that comment
Lmao I'm watching this in public and I snorted so loudly haha.
Bob Mortimer on WILTY never fails to have me laughing out loud, no matter how many times I've seen his tales. The best anti-depressant out there. Thanks, Bob 🙏 ❤
😢😢😢just,
Do we think David has nightmares about Bob?
Having nightmares about Bob must be the worst thing ever. You'd wake up in a cold sweat and still not know if what you'd just seen was true or not.
I mean would any of us really be surprised if Bob could hack into people's dreams?
Im pretty sure his therapist has made a killing thanks to Bob 😅
We do
It's actually insane the extent to which Bob can make "I brewed some beer with this man" sound insanely unrealistic next to "I pulled him out of a hat when he was a baby" You could give him the most normal prompt next to the weirdest thing ever and he makes it sound the least believable, and I think the scenario writers know this and don't even need to try to write it weird because he has that part covered
Well, Debbie McGee is a stage magician, and quite likely is indeed a member of the Magic Circle, so that was quite believable.
Kiss The Alderman, or a Representative For The Chinese Community in Bolton?
@@qwertyTRiGwe saw her Funny Side?
He honestly sounds like a really bad AI. The stories fit the outline of structure, but nothing really makes any sense.
Bob could make "This is John. He and I became acquainted when we took the same bus most mornings for a year" sound as ridiculous a proposition as "This is John. He and I convinced a captain to give us free passage on a cruise ship as male strippers"
the 'because we can't both drive' was sooooooooooo quick
I just realized that, since it was a lie, Bob came up with “Rats All Folks” and “Murder She Roach” on the spot, which is just amazing to me… haha
At least one of these was used by the writers of Bob's Burgers who, I'm sure, were in awe and admiration when they saw him spit them out so quickly.
‘On the spot’? What a strange interpretation of the situation. At the very least, he had the length of Angelica’s story to come up with them - which is loads of time - if not longer.
Watch Bob's burgers!
Bob might have lived the most entertaining and eclectic life ever to be lived. Absolute class act.
I have some good stories. I would love to have some drinks with Bob and just match crazy life stories. If we could include Rhod Gilbert and James Acaster that would be Planet Trippin'
@@bcayeyeah course you have 🤦
Bob is probably my favourite person I haven't yet met
I have seen the many Bob excerpts more times than I can remember but I still laugh out loud every time. Ridiculously funny
‘Are you just saying any word that it’s coming to your head in any order?’ had me in tears
I love how Jonathan's trying not to die from laughter 😭😭
I never enjoyed Reeves and Mortimer. However, Bob Mortimer in Would I Lie to You is an absolute gem. He is irresistible and I can keep watching his contribution to this superb show time and time again.
Couldn’t agree more….Bob is brilliant on ‘gone fishing’ even though I have zero interest in fishing.
Can't stand Reeves..but he did put Bob on the telly...
I can't recall which year, but his performance in Taskmaster was everything you could want. I knew he would be good but I hurt my ribs laughing.
I always always ALWAYS come back to watch Bob n Lee
Always funny when the acquantainces themselves struggle to contain a laugh or two
Omg😂😂😂 I've got tears rolling down my face.... Bob is utterly hilarious 😂
A hand lion!? Only from the world of Bob
Bob is one of the funniest blokes around,,, and a genuine nice guy.
The best part is, he doesn’t even try to be funny, he’s just being himself but his storytelling is hilarious 😂
He's one of those people that you could be having a pint with in a pub, and he starts talking, telling you about his life....and then suddenly you notice the whole pub has gone quiet and everyone is just looking and listening to him....
Lee mack his timing is 100%
Every time Bob appears on WILTY, he is on Lee Mack's team. Most questions asked to him also happens to be by Lee Mack himself! 😂😂
Genuinely thought the first guy was the pest controller sending Bob pics of rats. That's honestly such a Bob Mortimer type of relationship start, I thought it was true.
This is not all the times, it's lacking Bob's mate that he gave a hair cut at the football
Mickey the Drink
@@misscryptoria Why's he called Mickey the Drink??
@@Dilmahkana *mimes drinking* "Anyway, so..."
Thought it was on holiday at the beach.. maybe it was football!
@@DM-pv8ib It was at the World Cup in 1982 in Spain. Check out episode 8 of Bob's podcast, Athletico Mince, to hear another great story about Mickey the Drink.
Pretty impressive read on the hand lion by a guy that lost at carrot in a box....twice. lol
Haha that shit was so funny. RIP Lock.
Never get enough Bob :)
Has anybody else watched Bob on WILTY a million times yet? 😂
No, but I think I'm solidly in the thousands, with a couple of dozen just for the line about his "sniper's dream" buddy.
I was 100% sure it was bob , the card being so long , him liking rats which is just as strange as liking soil science and showing lee a pic seemed too good to be a bluff. At the end he usually giggles when the opponents are wrong but nope he just lied beautifully
I mean, to be fair, Bob did have lots of pictures of rats on his phone. This was just the perfect story for him!
noooooo, dont spoil it
@@raulgaletsdon't read the comments before watching then
@@nicosmind3 "I was 100% sure it was bob" pop on the screen even when the comment section is minimized so... not an option. it is good practice on wilty videos to leave it hanging...
Thinking about it from the production point of view, it had to be Angelica. I don't think they would put a guest on the spot with a card like that unless it was true information they'd volunteered. Lee maybe they would but not a guest.
This is one of the best tv shows, ever! I live in the U.S. Thank God for KZhead, so I could discover and watch this!
I fucking love Bob Mortimer
Bob is amazing lol, he should just have a show where he tells stories from his life
Gone Fishing .. with Paul Whitehouse .. I have no interest in fishing but won't miss it
Bob Mortimer is always amazing on this show, his life is so surreal.
Finally more Bob content 😍
I’m not even exaggerating, without Bob making me smile I’d be dead by now. Sometimes it’s the only thing that keeps me going.
Same
You need to find some more coping mechanisms my friend
Keep going and look after yourself. Lots of simple joy in life if you let it find you.
Same. I became widowed nearly three years ago, and only found this show maybe two years ago. I had stopped watching TV because I couldn’t bear watching any of “our” programs. But we’d never watched any British shows together, so there were no memories attached. This group, Rob, David, Lee, and Bob, were the only escape I had, and allowed me to laugh again.
@@ceinarsson Very similar story in my case. This show was a welcome distraction. And yes, "our" shows were very painful to watch and still may be, but I haven't looked back and am slowly moving forward. I can't get this show where I am and I was delighted to discover it on KZhead. Watched the entire series in one go. Still sane afterwards, so there is hope for me. (That's a joke). All the best for you. Cheers.
David is already smiling before Mario comes out
8:20 You can hear Lee say to Bob in the background "hang on, you just showed me a picture?" hahah
Ah I've just started my 32 minutes of heaven 😂😍
I've been watching reruns during past couple months to fall asleep to and after season 2, literally every episode is perfect. Can't get enough. Bob is my fav, but the German comic is amazing too. Though I think the ONLY reason this show works is David/Rob/Lee riffing off each other and understanding when to 'help' others' stories or stay out of them (or if they make a bad quip, the others bail them out, it's amazing - they always make sure EVERYONE has fun) Oh and Greg.. he could be a substitute captain for sure, that dude is just perfect for this game. Him and Ghilbert lol
Good grief!! How do you go too sleep watching this?? I giggle all the way through! 😂
I agree with you. So much fun. 😂🎉. This is the way friends should be..! Very funny❤🎉
Henning Wehn
I personally think the three best guests are Bob Mortimer, Kevin Bridges, and Henning Wehn. But Mr Mortimer is the absolute King Of Them All. I just bought his autobiography, I'm looking forward to reading it.
What I like also is that even Lee Mack can't believe his stories!
🤣🤣🤣 omg, Bob just cracks me up!
"Wolf!"
Ludicrously funny. Bob Mortimer's life is like some strange film....
It says something about Bob that you can pick a theme for his highlights and it's still longer than a full episode of the show.
This episode was recorded before David Mitchell lost his mind due to being unable to determine Bob's fact from fiction....these days David inhabits a padded cell with pictures of Bob to act as triggers....he isn't well and scowls continuously.
Reminds me of the relationship between Chief Inspector Dreyfus and Clouseau. The classic straight man and the clown who takes himself seriously and lives in a world all his own.
😂😂😂
I couldn’t love bob more
The Cockroach King doesn’t need a pest controller!
Bob is bestest hearty boy and must be protected..
straight of the bat you know it's not lee, because you would never stay in contact with the person you unintentionally honked at...
Bob Mortimer is delightfully insane 😂 I absolutely love his stories!
Bob is hilarious!!! 😂😂😂
the hand lion is the most wonderful, transcendent ad lib i've ever seen
He pulls a "Rats all folks" out of the blue. Genius!
Love Bob he is hilarious. His names and stories are brilliant 😂
Lee's comment on the car wash code is some unbelievable quick wit.
He's good but parts are definitely scripted.
@@johnmc3862What you said makes lots of sense. Lee was too smooth in that bit, he didn't even stop to think.
The rat story sounded way too reasonable to be a bob story
@30:23 that's the first time I've seen Lee even just a little bit insecure 😂😂
This is my favorite segment of the show!
He manages to twist pretty "normal" stories into something completely absurd, surreal and unbelievable, great storytelling!
I expect to see both of Bob’s exterminator names in the opening credits of Bob’s Burgers
May we please just appreciate Bob with a suitable award . He’s looking poorly on the new gone fishing and seems to be fixated with death .
Maybe he's ill and not telling anyone?
I loved it when lee said he attended a village fete to judge the pig race, maybe that's how we should decide the winners, not how fast you can finish but how stylish you ran it
More Bob!!!!! ❤️❤️ Yay!!
Bob has had a colourful life.
Bob should have made as a series of his brewing escapades,, would've been hilarious 😂
😂Thanks. I was feeling a bit I’ll and miserable and this at least cheered me up for a bit. Laughter is the best medicine -but l wouldn’t say no to something for my gut.😅
Feel like the show had a cosier feel when they were actually seated together...
They were seated apart from one another during COVID for social distancing. In some shots you can see the fiberglass barriers between people as well
Bob is the fun mate we all wish we had.
Holly Willoughby wouldn't lie to us, would she?
😏
I love Bob
Bob is a classic. Laughs everywhere for me. 🤣🤣🤣 Write a book Bob. 😊😂
He has
I wonder if they're still making 'Kiss my alderman'? I wouldn't mind trying it.
Bob Mortimer is truly an enigma
How is it possible for a person to make almost every line they utter funny?
Bob Mortimer is brilliant
I forgot how pretty Angelica is, huge crush on her growing up
This show should win every comedy award going 😅😅😅😅😅😅
This show is always so hilarious, one of the best on Tv. 😂 I always end up with tears streaming down my face 😂😂😂😂😂
This guy is a brilliant story-teller.
I would love to brew beer with Bob. 😂
Wonderful Bob, always brilliant.love you
Bob has had a great life 😂
Bob had such a wonderful and adventurous childhood.
Big should always be on Lee’s team to always put David on edge
The worst part of being American is there is truly no way to describe the chaos that is Bob Mortimer on a truth game in our culture.
A National Treasure
I'm always impressed by people being able to keep a straight face.
Anybody knows what episode the brewing story from ..i have been looking for the episode for ages
I need to see this "remote controlled hand lion" that either licks or swats at your hand
Fancied him on Shooting Stars! Now on his other 2 old guys in retirement 😂
Poor Mario.
the first one... why did Bob just have a photo of a rat on his phone 😂
On one hand, great compilation. On the other, it loses a bit of the mystery of who's telling the truth 😁
No it doesn't. Bob was lying 2/3 times.
What a great aware teacher ..fun…could see the kids reacting to him …✋💯✅…a class that needs a hand lion 😇😂🤣
Bob must have been a real prankster growing up through his younger years! He’s a bloody hard case! ( kiwi lingo) meaning extremely funny
@crypto banter is there a place to access the spreadsheet Ran used in the show today? Thank you!
if i ever run a business i'd like bob to give my brand a name!!
