  • Just back from Stop Making Sense the movie, it struck me how courageous David Byrne is. He does his dance and sings his lyrics in a way that only he can. He does it with confidence that conveys "you be you" and it works. He was and is a great inspiration. Hearing Lorde's maturity, curiosity and humility is very enjoyable. This interview reminded me how talented she is and I need to go listen to her music. Thank you to both for doing this interview.

Sometimes, we just don't vibe, no matter how great the artist can be. It's amazing that she spoke about it because I feel the same way, sometimes I feel forced to like an artist. • Watching these two made me think about elegance. Elegance is more complex and interesting than beauty. Beauty likes the sunshine and warm breezes. It tends to fade on stormy days. Not elegance, it is there all the time - often in the background and never too loud. Elegance listens and over whelms you quietly. Elegance is on your mind the next day and the following day, and all days you care to remember.
