Search engines?. You do realise that that's how pupils and students revise and research nowadays?.. no more encyclopedias sitting on a shelf in your front room. I had to find medical papers, research results and case studies online for my dissertations and I needed Google's help...

I uninstalled the SM apps from my phone months ago and it has been truly freeing. KZhead isn't social for ME as I'm not a famous entertainer, but I do waste time on it. As a working artist, it's imperative to put the phone down. She's inspiring me to do that right now.
I had a dear friend, who is now passed, that was on the autism spectrum. He was utterly fascinated rather with anything map related. It was cool. Not funny. He would sketch these amazing, intricate fictional maps. He was not happy if he couldn't take regular long drives just because. His love for maps was one of his most endearing qualities.

this is sooo relatable. over the years social media has completely changed the way i think. i lost the ability to form my own opinion because i became accustomed to letting people on social media think for me. taking breaks from social media has helped A LOT. I’m no longer experiencing this
Month long or weekly breaks are good. I use apps to block my daily amount of time. Unfortunately i cannot find one that works on my ipad. My laptop i use cold turkey and my samsung i use stayfocused. I realllllllly love stayfocused and wish i could use it on all my devices.

A good step is to start by trying to live weeks without it, till eventually reaching a point where you can have it in your hands, and not really wanting to consume it.
