Rather than stripping Secret Service protection from Trump, rephrase the mission of the Secret Service to clarify they are in fact a law enforcment agency. They are not 'body guards' they just proactively protect the life of the president (and others) and (this is very important) make sure the knowledge they are privy to is kept out of the hands of 'bad people'.
Military hospital under lock and key would work..
Secret Service should also be able(and required) to report if they see potus committ a crime. (Like stealing classified documents)
