It's like what we say about children (and those at work). Children model what they see. We can tell them anything but the patterns of their behavior will be modeled after what their parents stress. If a parent tells a child not to hit when upset, but the same child watches their parent hit when they are upset, the child will do what was modeled (general abuse), sometimes not knowing why. You'll ask a child why they hit someone and they can't even tell you. Adults must model honest communication so a child learns how to do the same.

The fact that we as a people are naturally righteous by nature means we don't indulge in painting a picture that fantisises the very same people you are ridiculing and kept you oppressed.
