QJ rlly has the potential to be a gamewrecker for us. on this certain play, i think justin just didnt hold the ball long enough to give qj time bc keenan was so open. obviously it will take time for them to build a connection, but herbert built connections quickly with all the other guys, i believe he will with qj, especially since we have the bye. Its funny how Herbert catches strays when Staley and the defense folds in the 2nd half. Half the reason why the defense gets to have a chance is Herbert is bringing them back with a lead to defend. And especially this year when the offense is really humming without that trash Lombardi short game.

It's pretty funny how real this is, I agree. However, a lot of teams went 0-2 and won a SB. Not saying we will, because it's not how we start our season. It's how we finish that counts, coming together when we are needed the most. Another However * We have the Spanos's and there way of mixing business with football is atrocious. Staleys cracks in coaching are starting to show, and his culture of competing to win ruins our moral. We should be blowing up teams, but I'd much rather get dubs than going stat crazy. Stats don't win Superbowls !

still, the Chargers need to score in the 30s to keep up with the elite teams. Ekeler needs to return to put more pressure on teams in the run game. also Staley needs to adjust his defensive game to keep teams from keeping the second half of games closer than they should be.

He didn’t reach it when he extended his hand out and it showed that on live but after when he was falling forward the ball made it in
1st attempt he failed, second attempt his momentum pushed him forward and the ball crossed the line. I'm just glad the Raiders didn't think to knock the ball out of his hands.
This offense is not that good, I don’t care what they say, they dont flow and Keenan Allen is literally drawn up to get every pass. Where’s Herbert throwing pass’s to crisp routes on the outside you literally don’t see it. I don’t even think the majority of the plays even have any kind of route tree. It’s all just run at different levels over the middle and maybe somebody will get open

I expected the offense to score 40-50 points per game. Kellen Moore was highly touted to 'Unlock" the offense and supposed to be able to "Unleash" Justin Herbert. I have not seen anything new.
It got me thinking that it's Staley because it's too many stars on that defense for the defense to be bad like that
not impressed with the run game. the O line is NOT good at run blocking. as you can see with their ypc.
The Chargers are #9 in rushing and 4.2 YPC. Last year they were #30 in rushing with 3.8 YPC. That is a big improvement and without Ekeler for most of the games this year. I am not sure why you think the run blocking is so bad. It is middle of the pack at worst.

@@econ0003 forget the first game against Miami. that skews the stats. they had the one long run against the raiders. other than that, not much. against the vikings, I think 13 carries for like 16 yards. wow, barely over 1 ypc. how many 4th and one have they FAILED to convert? or,even 3rd and one, or two.

I think you are overreacting a little. Staley doesn't deserve to be a head coach. The defense is the problem. The Chargers would be 4-0 with a decent defense.
Mario Cristobal coached Herbert during his junior and senior seasons at Oregon. He never utilized Justin, it's too bad.
