  • Many a day i wish I had this tool, when I worked in underground utilities in water mains and sewer, cause some of the bolts and nuts are so rusted that they have to be grinded off to replace them

    • @@oswaldjames6295 can't use stainless steel, in underground utilities steel like that don't have the proper ability for stretching when torqued not sure exactly what the problem is but I think it is costly because if you have to ever take water mains apart its usually replaced with entirely new parts, but not always. The price for a few dosen't seem like that much but when you have 100s of fittings and a total of bolts per fitting can be extremely expensive in all few thousand bolts can costs thousands more to use stainless so we used stainless steel with some special equipment fittings like industrial back flow preventer, fire hydrants, for example but not on every fitting, and when we would have to put water mains underneath the road we used cpvc and its about inch thick or more, and then sleeved it inside of ductal iron pipes
