The sunnah of rasoollah was to follow the quran and Alhul bayt, the purified alhul bayt as apoointed by Allah. Ali being the first and the final Imam.Al Mahadi being the 12th. See Sahih muslim and tirmidhi rasoollah said follow quran and alhul bayt, not quran and sunnah. Iran is following the correct path.
