  • We are all mere mortals!!! We have a dust on the sensor and the pictures taken starts showing spots all over it. But this guy is a god...He cleans the Sensor with soap water and brush, the lens with water and the chip boards with soap water and brush, and still able to get proper focus and a sharp image. Bow down mere mortals!!!

    • Wrong! First you take the old camera and show how it works. You also shoot some videos how you disassemble and assemble the camera. Then you put it in the mud. You disassemble it, cleaning all electronics and sensor with toothbrush. Camera is already dead. You also spray paint the screen and accumulator's contacts. You throw the killed camera away and then cut and glue video pieces in the right order.

  • What spray are you using? It looks like glass cleaner, which usually has ammonia. Over time that ammonia is going adversely affect the electrical components. Should use something more like pure isopropyl alcohol or even deionized water. And then dry them properly at low heat.

Buy mops for the matrix and a special solution, why? A toothbrush and water from a feri, and you don't need this expensive camera care. Due to the long-term operation of the lens, it should be cleaned with soapy water and a brush, it works with teeth and will work with technology.

    • Actualy the AA-Filter of old DSLR sensor were like a layer protection. You could not have so many megapixel then to worry about. Otherwise all camera work just fine without it.

    • @@petrberanek4230 I still think it's ok, cuz I did it once before, not this one but a digigtal back of Nikon. Definitely its quality was bad enough to notice any differences. However what I don't believe is how the camera was left in mud like that. In this country (Vietnam) there is a whole industry of recycling and rebuilding eletronics. No such a big thing like a camera could be left unnoticed. BTW you see all the components inside? In this part of the world, moisture normally at 60% so 1 week in mud should make the everything fully covered by fungus.

    • You would be amazed at what you can clean with soap and water even electronic circuits. Providing they are dried off completely they should come to no harm at all.

  • It was clean and dry inside. And why painting again . It will be nicer with just polish paste and some effort to make it cleaner . Only u need to charge the battery if u don’t have the charger . Or the charger won’t charge cuz of very low voltage u can do wat u did already to charge it with dc power supply . Anyways it’s ur channel. Yes we know that u are electronic genius, but u have to try turning it on after a decent clean first. ❤️

  • There are too many sensitive parts including the lens coatings that CANNOT be fixed in this manner. That lens is a write off because the chemical lens coatings have to be applied in a 'cleanroom' also Electronic parts are already ruined due to their corrosion and submersion into water. The reasons this 'may look okay' cosmetically but never WORK correctly again are endless.

  • OMG KZhead WHY? He cleaned the camera sensor with a tootbrush and soap! The camera was obviously throw in the mud hours before recording and he totally destroyed the camera while trying to dissasembly it.. What a waste
