Michael J. Fox is going back to his past and rewriting his future. Still is now streaming on Apple TV+ apple.co/_Still
The film, which will incorporate documentary, archival and scripted elements, will recount Fox’s extraordinary story in his own words - the improbable tale of an undersized kid from a Canadian army base who rose to the heights of stardom in 1980s Hollywood. The account of Fox’s public life, full of nostalgic thrills and cinematic gloss, will unspool alongside his never-before-seen private journey, including the years that followed his diagnosis, at 29, with Parkinson’s disease. Intimate and honest, and produced with unprecedented access to Fox and his family, the film will chronicle Fox’s personal and professional triumphs and travails and will explore what happens when an incurable optimist confronts an incurable disease. With a mix of adventure and romance, comedy and drama, watching the film will feel like … well, like a Michael J. Fox movie.

  • He was, by far, my favorite actor growing up. I remember the night my mom took my brother and me to see BTTF like it was yesterday and I'm obsessed with that movie to this day. I hate to see him like this, but, like he said, feeling pity for him won't do anything

  • this was great... his wife is a saint. a terrible disease and he fought it for so long and now just accepts life and is not bitter but joyful... You feel in the moment in this even though there is plenty of flashbacks... you feel the love he has for life and his family... great watch because of him... the style, the format? same old documentary... Mr Fox makes the magic here just like he always has for us... thanks Michael.

  • Of all the stars in hollywood and other work he was second only to my father as my hero, i never liked super hero movies, but he is super in real life but i love his acting, i always copied his maners of talk, walk, gestures. i hope he live a very long life, my father is memory now, but i believe Michael can and will be cured and do great movies.
