  • Despite what happened one can't help but think that in an alternate universe Zabit has the cardio and is very healthy while wearing a UFC title around his waist.   • Could have easily been champ. I wasn't aware of him KOing Sterling in sparring, but big ups to Sterling for even admitting that, as the majority of fighters wouldn't dare to make something like that public. Also, aside from his health and personal reasons for not continuing his MMA journey, he did make it public that he wanted to pursue a career in medicine which obviously couldn't be fulfilled if he continued fighting.

Can you imagine someone thinking they’re gonna be a “tough guy”, and start picking on this dude cause he’s skinny and doesn’t look imposing and he just absolutely rocks their shit with a head kick from seemingly outta nowhere, or a spinning back fist, again, seemingly from outta nowhere, or he just grapples their ass down into a guillotine? Man he’s good and I’m absolutely sorry to hear he is no longer fighting in the UFC. I’ve never been to a live event, but I’d pay and even travel to Las Vegas JUST to see him fight, don’t even care the opponent.

    • Are you describing his SParring session with Aljo? because that is exactly what happened, Aljo even tells the story how he sparred some guy without even recognizing or knowing who it was...it just so happened to be his bad luck that person was Zabit.....AND ALJo said he had never been so Mesmerized by what he saw, He had NEVER been Hit as hard as that AND Legit was the last time he pretty much had to take a time out due to all the punishment he took from that sparring session!!
