  • I see one inconsistency. The Halal dietary Laws are almost identical to the Jewish Kosher Laws! I believe that, at least with mammals, Both the Quran and the T'nakh(Old Testament) requires that the animal must have a cloven(split) hoof and chew the cud! Donkeys are Haram and Horses are Halal? Makes no sense. I do know that some Muslims are okay with Shellfish, Mollusks etc. I've spoken to other Muslims who told me that if it comes from the sea, it must have Scales and Fins just as the Jewish laws state!

Ikan akan haram jika mati sebelum ditangkap. Demikian pula, ikan yang disembelih tanpa mengikuti standar Islam juga haram. Selain itu, ada pula sejumlah ikan yang tergolong haram dikonsumsi di antaranya clingfish, ikan jaket kulit, marlin, ikan makarel ular, hiu, ikan sturgeon, dan ikan todak.

Prophet Mohamed peace of Allah upon him ate horse meat. فعن جابر بن عبد الله رضي الله عنهما قال : ( نهى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يوم خيبر عن لحوم الحمر الأهلية ورخص في الخيل ) رواه البخاري (3982) ومسلم (1941) . وعن أسماء بنت أبي بكر رضي الله عنهما قالت : ( نحَرْنا على عهد النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم فرساً فأكلناه ) رواه البخاري (5191) ومسلم (1942) .

  • Frogs is not haram. Muslims of Southeast Asia are considered Halal but it's permissable in al-Malikiyya and al-Shafiyya. Frog legs are like chickens meat😐
