End of season-meet at the RC tank course!

In late October, Hans,Martin and I took our models for a drive at our RC tank course. It was a cold but great day, and I really like it when the weather isn't tip top.

  • Very neat. The crom is looking and running great. Your Cent. is spectacular. Details are amazing. The BV also very cool. That should be unstoppable with 4 motors.

    • Hi, thank you! Usually noting too serious, but once in awhile something needs to be adjusted or fixed. My RSO keeps banging up the rear muffler, just like the real thing did. 😋

  • looks very nice! You have a great location over there. Just a question Erik, the ramps, you made them from wood? I guess your tanks are not as heavy as the full metal ones from amortek.

    • Hi! Yeah, it's a great place. :) Correct, they are made of plywood, since I had lots of it in my workshop. No, the weight of the 105 is roughly 50 kg, around half or less than an Armortek-model.

    • Thank you! I make my own CAD files in FreeCad, from blueprints and reference pictures found online.

  • Я всегда хотел спросить, какую аппаратуру вы используете на 105 и при любом создании подобных танков, просто тоже хочу сделать танк в 6 масштабе, но не понимаю какую аппаратуру надо брать

    • Hi, the 105 is built the same way as my other models - plywood hull, 3D-printed tracks and wheels, with two 18 V electric drills as motors. There will be a build video specifically for the 105, but check out my previous build videos for some more details and inspiration.
