Years after the Great War, the Voltaris are threatening to return to the world of Ardonia, and only Thalleous is preparing for an attack. He brings the clanless Senn on his journey, who gets a much different adventure than he ever could have planned for.
Meanwhile, two thieves, Jalkar and Grim, have stolen the Enderdragon egg from Etherea. Abbigail, a nearby farmer, tracks down and hunts these two thieves.
And in the forests of Felden, Lucan investigates a Necromancer army with the help of an unexpected ally, Niika, as they fight zombies and undead.

Original story and characters, smoothly animated, includes beautiful music wich gave me this music taste that I truly love. Black Plasma, or now, Squared Media - if you see this, you should know that thousands, even millions of people, are waiting for return of the Ardoni stories. You made my childhood!

It was officially canceled three years ago. Then, the script for seasons 2 and 3 were released to the public. Then, the director (who happened to come up with the idea of the series in the first place) turned out to be grooming a young girl. Sorry to say it, but any chances of the official series returning have long since turned to zero.

One thing I would want to say: The way the story was written up to the point that Thalleous died made me think that Thalleous was our main character, which made his sudden death such a shock. Amazing writing!

This series bring back such a treasure trove of memories. The animation is gorgeous, the writing is beautiful, the characters are great, the storytelling reminds of The Lord of the Rings. It's such a fantastic series. I was devastated when it got cancelled.

Songs of War is the BEST, most epic animation I’ve ever watched! I’ve supported this incredible series since the first episode was released and have always felt an attachment to the story and its characters. It’s just incredible and nothing can replace it. I've rewatched this quite a few times now. I love this movie and it qill always be my favorite. The storyline is amazing, and everything about it was so appealing. I can't believe it won't continue since I have been waiting so long for it. I respect your choice, and how your lack of motivation got the best of you. It is hard, I understand. We all do. Songs of War is by far the best Minecraft Movie in the world, with amazing and smooth animations, rich lore, well-done colors, and so on. It is such a pity that it has been discontinued. I hope Squared Media can make the wise choice to continue the works on Songs of War, for if this movie has acquired already nearly sixty million views, then when the next Songs of War movies will be released, they will not only gain a similar amount of views, but will also spread word and popularity of this epic movie. No other Minecraft Animation Studio is as perfect and unique as Squared Media, and they have so much potential to finish the masterpiece that has been waiting three or four years to be complete. Again, it has potential beyond imagination. It need not be said that it has a well-written script, that it has magnificent soundtrack, sound effects, story, lore, and so many more things. Songs of War has a huge fan community, and they would explode as soon as they found out Songs of War is coming out with the rest of its official series. When I read the entire script, I almost fell into tears, one of the very few pieces made by mankind that I have found to do so. The movie used to give me goosebumps whenever I started watching it. But, knowing that it is currently not continued, it now fails to do the same to me. I still feel tingles in the most epic parts of the movie, especially the end, where the climax breaks the atmosphere, but it now only disappoints me that it is only the end of a story with two more seasons that has already been plotted out. May Squared Media make the wise decision of bringing a continuation to this unique, beautiful, and masterfully made series.

No idea how this got in my recommended, but oh man does this bring me back to the old times. The imagination in this story is a prime example of what childhood minds could create, only this was actually brought to fruition, with an extremely impressive performance. The setting in Minecraft gives me nostalgia, as well as the old rpg style with medieval monsters, factions, magic and the like. This piece really is a gem, one that I’m happy to have come across by chance to remind me of the great imagination that has unfortunately faded somewhat in recent years. And best of all, I haven’t even seen the climax in season2, my luck I found this afterwards.

I rewatched the movie after 2-3 years and it just makes me realize how much work went into this film, the building of the map, the casting, the recording, the scenic shots, and so much more, and all of that and the hard work of so many people made this a reality. It's just sad that season 2 and 3 are cancelled. I've read through the script and I won't give any spoilers but some crazy stuff happens. If you would like to know, I would highly recommend you read the script but my point is, please support this series. Although season 2 and 3 are cancelled, this series is insanely well made and give it the attention it deserves.

Such a masterpiece of stunning animations, great voice acting and realistic sectors of environment. Sadly it had to be discontinued. Forever this movie will retain its superiority amongst the greatest storyline to ever exist in Minecraft's animation category. The animations and vibrant colors just cannot be comprehended, I am just speechless, an ABSOLUTE BEAUTY of visuals.

Can't believe it's been 3 years since Episode 1 was released. I remember first watching this back in 2019 and 2020 during the lockdown caused by the pandemic, the memories and nostalgia it brings now hits hard. Words can't describe how wonderful this series is, and it's a shame that it had to be cancelled. The storyline is so well-written that I cried after reading the whole script... not to mention that the animation, effects, and voice acting were honestly just insane. I'm so disappointed that it didn't get the amount of views or attention it deserved. But most importantly, the people I met and the community I was part of made this experience unforgettable. I met so many amazing and talented individuals in the fandom wiki, and they encouraged and supported the fanfiction I wrote and the music videos I made. I made friends I never would’ve met otherwise and I am so incredibly grateful for that. Unfortunately, the wiki is gone now and all that remains are old memories and dead passions... but the impact it had on me was still huge. I am now writing my own novel because this series inspired me so much. Although I have moved on, Songs of War will forever have a place in my heart. It is and will forever be my favorite animation on this channel. Even though probably no one will see this, I would like to say thank you. Thank you to all who made this experience possible. Edit: First of all, thank you for all the likes! I didn't expect so many of you to see this. It means a lot to me. Second, I have just learned of some very unfortunate news. It is highly likely that all traces of David, his content, and history are going to be deleted from this channel for reasons that you can read on the BPS Discord server... including Songs of War. The channel itself will possibly also undergo a re-brand and it will change its name, and I suggest you read the full announcement on the discord server. If Songs of War and all the other wonderful animations that David has helped create vanish, then I want to tell you all again how very thankful I am to the entire SoW and BPS community. After watching this for the third time I’ve just realized two things: 1.) Just how tall Thalleous is compared to a normal human, and 2.) Just how freaking good the music is! I love his music, it’s really good!
If you don't know already, those things that they have on the sides of their heads are, actually "ears/horns", which represent their ages. You can tell it, If you compare Senn's to Thalleous' ones for example.

My own understanding of the "songs" (their abilities) Red song: for offence, like fire balls, sucking things or your enemies(💀), red shards, a red circle blast, shockwaves, and lasers Blue song: for defense, like a barrier that acts like a sheild, and freezing a part of your body or your whole body to tank an incoming attack Green song: might be telekinesis or controlling the elements (like the earth attack death singer did on the tide singer, and that ardoni that caught the red blast with air powers...?) Yellow song: for mobility, like teleporting a short distance, and the song that the tide singer used against the death singer that allowed him to do multiple air jumps
The story is over 3 years old n still getting views n comments . That’s a clear sign that the series should continue.

To the creators of songs of war: I beg you to continue this series, and the story, it is by far the best minecraft animation i have ever seen. the scenic canvas is unlike anything, i really paints a beautiful picture. even from the smallest details of a characters gestures, to the voice acting, narration, the sounds, music, everything is perfect and blends together amazingly. I humbly request squared media(black plasma studios) to gather all their animators for this project. I would pay good money to watch the next seasons and im sure a lot of people would. This is leaps and bounds above Minecraft: Story mode and in my opinion is the best minecraft series out there.
